19/08/2025: The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. The dishes are delicious, with a touch of innovation that makes them special.
I met them in Sarconi at the Sagra del Fagiolo, and they were top-notch there too: a testament to their quality!
13/08/2025: Aside from the biblical wait times (2.15 hours for a burger and a fried chicken), which don't affect the rating, although they are very annoying... the problem is the menu we ate, which wasn't what we ordered... the meat dishes were told they were sold out after an hour (who knows), the grilled vegetables we asked for but never made, the sweet and sour chicken didn't have the sauce (probably forgotten)... the staff's total lack of attention to making up for a bad evening (which can happen).
Disappointing, and unfortunately, the staff (both women) aren't up to the task of managing interactions with people, much less a restaurant (if the grill was turned off by mistake, just let us know, don't make excuses, and gradually communicate the lack of all the dishes we ordered).

08/09/2025: One of the worst bars, it looks very dirty and dated. It has an adjacent house, which offers great potential if only they were careful to do so. The espresso is a runny mess.
25/08/2025: A real hub! We loved meeting the family that owned this cafe. Great coffee and delicious pastries - my favourite was the cannoli!

06/09/2025: A wonderful stop after a tiring day, we went up to this chalet where we were welcomed by the very kind staff.
Wonderful food, served with care and dedication, ideal for a relaxing meal in the mountains surrounded by greenery. From appetizer to dessert, everything was truly delicious. We left with a smile and the satisfaction of those who eat well.

01/07/2025: This Chalet has been closed for a long time but fortunately it has now reopened thanks to the good will of Leonardo who is also a breeder and Massimo (chef). It is a beautiful structure, located in an area where there are only woods around and is on the path to climb the mountain to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Viggiano which I recommend visiting not only for the spiritual suggestion but because from there you can admire a unique landscape spectacle. The Chalet welcomes guests both for overnight stays and for refreshments. For those who want to experience the mountains and nature on weekends it is the ideal place. The rooms all have an internal bathroom, are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is spread over several levels and the kitchen is managed by Massimo, an excellent and friendly chef, who served us delicious dishes. Here you can eat both meat and fish so we indulged ourselves with sliced beef and fish dishes (the stewed cod with potatoes was excellent). The breakfasts are mostly savory (boiled and scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, etc.) but there is also sweet. The structure has a large parking lot and the wonder is the crisp air that you breathe at sunset and sunrise. Excellent quality/price ratio, but the kindness of Leonardo and Massimo are priceless. Highly recommended!

29/10/2025: It's not newly built, but it's very well maintained and cared for. The rooms lack nothing, even a small refrigerator. The bathroom is very clean and well-stocked with soaps and other amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and varied. The location is perfect for those looking for a quiet stay, but it's quite far from the town center.

Missing towels in the room.
Big disappointment.

02/01/2025: Ci siamo trovati benissimo, i piatti deliziosi ed abbondanti. Il personale molto simpatico ed accogliente. Consiglio a tutti i ferricelli alla viggianese e la tagliata con lardo di colonnato.
Ottimo anche il vino della casa.
Torneremo assolutamente da loro
