15/12/2024: We had the company Christmas lunch here at the Colonne. We ate very well, the staff is really friendly and the price is more than fair. I highly recommend!
05/11/2024: Sincere restaurant.
I was for dinner on Saturday evening, and we decided to have a light starter of raw ham, fried pasta and stracchino.
Then tordelli from Lucca and finally sliced with lard.
House wine and bitters offered.
In the end €25 each and we were fine.
As I said at the beginning, it is a concrete restaurant, more for eating out than romantic dinners.
Average product quality.

24/11/2024: Buona cena in location molto carina... da segnalare la trippa e il baccalà grigliato, gustosissimo e cotto a puntino .. gli antipasti invece sono stati deludenti, mi aspettavo molto di più, sia di quantità ,che di qualità .. servizio un po assente e distratto... leggermente sbilanciato il rapporto qualità prezzo a mio parere per essere a Meati .
Consigliato!

22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO.
The place appears warm and welcoming
the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country.
The staff is quick but a bit resolute.
Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes.
The mise en place is good.
30/11/2023: In a good environment, good food, apart from a few small flaws, but we will return.
