21/08/2024: Super welcoming place and attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Quality food and exquisite "fat". Low prices. What can I say... it's hard to find a flaw. We will be back! :)
12/08/2024: Very friendly and hospitable. Delicate, very tender "Pepe" pepper steak and fish. The tiramisu has a clear coffee note and the mascarpone has vanilla added (perhaps pudding?) Highly recommended! Price-performance is great!

14/08/2024: On Tuesday 13 August we went to eat at this restaurant. The service was very fast even though the restaurant was full. Very good food at low prices. I will definitely go back.

22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO.
The place appears warm and welcoming
the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country.
The staff is quick but a bit resolute.
Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes.
The mise en place is good.

25/06/2024: Bellissimo pranzo fra amici con ravioli al ragù bianco, sformato di funghi, funghi fritti, baccalà alla griglia e tanto altro.
Ottimo vino locale.
29/05/2024: Premetto che non sono una fan della cucina Lucchese,ma da questo storico locale mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. L'accoglienza è partita subito zoppicando,il pane( misurato) abbiamo dovuto sollecitarlo dopo i primi,l'olio così così ( siamo a Lucca....),i dolci, quello di mio marito,ci ha lasciato un po' basiti.......insomma niente di eccezionale ma tutto nella norma.
