Flame 'n Co. Cecchini

Pasiano di pordenone
24/03/2026: If you love meat, Flame'n Co. in Pasiano is a must-visit. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, the aging is perfect, and the grilling is masterfully executed. We tried select cuts that melted in our mouths. The highly knowledgeable staff is able to explain each type of meat well and recommend the ideal doneness. A top-notch experience!
21/02/2026: Maybe I was unlucky, but an hour and a half to eat was definitely not an option. After the wait, I received charred polenta and sausage, and the steak was without the sauce on the menu. It's not the waitresses' fault (they were all kind), but the kitchen's. The manager (I think she was) was very kind and apologized, offering us sorbets. Unfortunately, this didn't save the dinner, and my review is intended to improve the service.

Chick a Boom

Pasiano di pordenone
19/04/2026: Great place, great food, and great beer. The kg-burger is truly amazing! I recommend trying it at least once!
05/04/2026: Let me start by saying that I've worked in the kitchen all my life, going from pubs to Michelin-starred restaurants, so I've been around a fair few places. Our favorite place was closed, so we decided to have dinner here for once. I don't understand some of the dining room-related issues, like the lack of extra napkins at the table, considering that everything is based on fried food, pizza, and sandwiches, but that's okay, we can still overlook that. We order our dishes, and there are six of us at the table. The dishes arrive after almost 50 minutes of waiting (four sandwiches, three of which are the same, one plain, and two chicken menus). I don't understand the timing. Since I'm the first person to have worked in the kitchen, I assume takeout is preferred, but as a chef, I would feel uncomfortable making customers wait that long. At least in the dining room, they could warn customers of the waiting time. (Thus avoiding reviews like this) But let's continue, everything arrives except one sandwich, no waiter deigns to ask if everything has arrived (something quite common with larger tables), so my friend gets up and goes to ask the girl who served us. We discover that she hadn't heard his order, even blaming him for it. I don't mean to be rude, but I say, there are six of us at the table, how can you expect five to eat and one not? I repeat, it would have been enough to ask for confirmation of receipt of the dishes (so as to avoid this part of the review as well). Considering that my sandwich cost €15, I found it absurd to be told that the potatoes had to be ordered separately (another €5 extra just for the sake of it). For years, potatoes have tended to be served with the sandwich. In fact, I didn't order them because I find it a truly ridiculous way to earn a few extra euros. The sandwich was okay, but with jarred pickles, I would have at least caramelized the onions, adding them raw so the sandwich would inevitably be overpowered by those two flavors. I'd also recommend being careful with the smash burger in the kitchen, as it's not exactly easy to manage during cooking, and an extra minute makes a difference; mine was overcooked and came out a bit dry.
