31/03/2026: Korean, yes, perhaps. Having no previous experience with Korean cuisine, we consider Soon's offerings to be Asian cuisine, naturally adapted to Italian tastes. But that's part of the deal. We went for dinner; the atmosphere was welcoming, with just enough space between tables and young, very gracious service. The entrances to the restaurant were a bit scattered, but overall it was a nice place. Each table had its own small barbecue, which we couldn't help but try with their mix of beef, pork, and chicken. All very spicy and a little hot, morsels of meat sizzling on the BBQ, paired with lettuce leaves. But first, we were intrigued by their ramen, delicious with beef and vegetable matchsticks. Perhaps a little un-Asian in the broth, but still good. The wine list was concise but adequate and reasonably priced. Worth a visit, around €50 per person with a bottle for two. Not cheap, but still in line with Bologna. Perhaps they should revisit the menu's graphic design, which is difficult to read and a bit confusing. Three stars are there.

14/03/2026: Lots of options for bubble tea. I got a milk tea with boba. Not as sweet as ones in Australia but very much enjoyed it and will go back. Great place with very cute decor.

18/01/2026: It was my first time here, and I didn't think you could have lunch there. From the outside, it looked like a bar, but I have to say that for a first experience, I was very satisfied. The kitchen is open and very clean. The quality of the food is very good, with seasonal ingredients and freshly prepared. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend it and will definitely return. The prices are also reasonable, not excessive, and the portions are generous. I was very satisfied.

01/04/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times; the food is delicious, varied, and high-quality. The two stars are for the service. Unfortunately, lately I've found the staff to be a bit rude. As soon as we sat down, they gave us barely two minutes to look at the menu. We said we hadn't decided yet, and the waitress responded rudely and returned 30 seconds later. Subsequent interactions were similar, too, and it kept us from enjoying the evening. The dessert menu needs reconsidering.

The location is simply perfect — in less than 4 minutes' walk you're already at Piazza Maggiore and surrounded by the city's main tourist attractions, which made it very easy to make the most of our time in Bologna. The room was also a highlight: everything was brand new, very clean and organized, giving a super pleasant feeling of care and comfort. But the biggest difference, without a doubt, was the service. Paolo was exceptional from the start — always very attentive, he helped us with great recommendations for restaurants and pastry shops and contributed greatly to making the most of our one-day visit. As a point of attention (in a very minor way), the hotel does not have an elevator. For us this wasn't a problem, but it might be something to consider for those with mobility difficulties.
