This is the ideal hotel for visiting the beautiful city of Bologna! Just a 20-minute walk from the train station, and especially only a 5-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, the hotel's location is undeniably central! Moreover, being situated on a small side street, it's worth noting how peaceful the place is. The room was perfect, spotlessly clean! And above all, Paolo's warm welcome made all the difference! I hope to return to Bologna soon, but I already know exactly where I'll be staying 😉

I had a great experience at the Buon Hotel Bologna Centro. The location is simply perfect — in less than 4 minutes' walk you're already at Piazza Maggiore and surrounded by the city's main tourist attractions, which made it very easy to make the most of our time in Bologna. The room was also a highlight: everything was brand new, very clean and organized, giving a super pleasant feeling of care and comfort. But the biggest difference, without a doubt, was the service. Paolo was exceptional from the start — always very attentive, he helped us with great recommendations for restaurants and pastry shops and contributed greatly to making the most of our one-day visit. As a point of attention (in a very minor way), the hotel does not have an elevator. For us this wasn't a problem, but it might be something to consider for those with mobility difficulties. Small, clean, quiet, centrally located hotel. No breakfast (vending machine). Mr. Paolo is very friendly. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Welcoming place run by helpful and competent people

Highly recommended hotel, very simple, but it's precisely in simplicity that the most beautiful surprises are found. First of all, the room was very clean and basic in every way, an excellent location in the heart of Bologna, but the best were the owners, lovely and cheerful people, especially Mr. Paolo, but also the lady whose name I don't know... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this small hotel in the heart of Bologna, in a truly strategic location, just steps from Piazza Maggiore and Via Rizzoli. The staff, especially Paolo and Eugenia, were extremely courteous, helpful, and attentive to our every need, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable, and perfectly heated during the winter. A very pleasant stay that we would recommend without hesitation.

Very clean, close to the historic center and easy to reach if you're arriving in Bologna by train. The owner is very friendly and helpful! He made us feel welcome and even offered us some great tips for our stay! The rooms are simply yet functionally furnished and extremely clean! Special mention goes to the incredibly comfortable memory foam mattress and the option to choose between two pillow heights—essential details for a 3-star hotel! The self-check-in option is convenient and uncomplicated, perfect for those looking for a convenient stay without time constraints! Highly recommended!
