28/06/2026: I visited this gelato shop today and was very pleased. The quality of the gelato is excellent, with truly delicious flavors and a wide variety to choose from. They also offer some sugar-free flavors. Out of curiosity, I tried a scoop of regular fiordilatte and a scoop of unsweetened coffee, just to see if there was a difference in flavor between the two. I must say I didn't notice any: both were truly excellent, creamy, and rich in flavor. The unsweetened coffee flavor, in particular, surprised me because it was so intense and flavorful, it was almost impossible to tell it was sugar-free. This is definitely a gelato shop worth a visit for the quality of the products and the wide selection of flavors.
22/06/2026: Without reducing everything to the price, but 4 euros for an ice cream (without having the possibility of getting a children's size) seems really excessive to me, also considering the location and quality.

13/07/2026: We went to Bar 4 Ciacole during the town's karaoke party and had a blast! The atmosphere was truly fantastic: lots of fun, music, smiling people, and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made you feel at ease.
The staff was friendly, fast, and always available, even when the place was packed. The drinks were also excellent, and the service was handled with great professionalism despite the large crowd.
It was a truly memorable evening, and Bar 4 Ciacole helped make it even more special. If you're passing through Chiavenna, especially during events, I absolutely recommend it. Kudos to the entire staff; we'll definitely be back!
20/05/2026: What a gem! A five minute walk from Hotel Villa Soligo and one of the best lunches we had in Prosecco-land. Beautifully presented salads and sandwiches and the server who helped translate the menu and served us was an absolute doll. Would highly recommend!

20/07/2026: After our flight, we went to this pastry shop for breakfast. The food was good, but the elderly lady who served us was quite rude and unfriendly. In contrast, the young woman who served us was very kind, smiling, and friendly. She made the experience much more pleasant.

18/03/2026: I'd been there before and liked it the other time.
I came back with relatives from Australia, confident I'd make a good impression. It worked so well that they video-conferenced with their kids in Australia to show them how well they were treated.
13/03/2026: Nice place, I'm giving it one star for technical and tactical issues: the clerk interrupted our very important game of briscola for no specific reason. I'll request a precision bombing of this ice cream shop.

12/07/2026: I was there with my family around 1 p.m. (there was almost no one else there). We ordered five drinks with the intention of ordering food later. We received our drinks quickly, but after 45 minutes, the server hadn't even come to our table. The atmosphere was quite nice, but we didn't order anything else, paid, and left. I was very dissatisfied.

20/04/2026: I've been frequenting this pastry shop for a while now. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and the inviting aroma of fresh pastries. The staff is young, friendly, and very professional, ready to offer advice and satisfy any request, providing fast and efficient service. The prices are in line with the quality of the products offered.
Last but not least, I'd like to highlight the efficiency and cleanliness of the restrooms, which is hard to come by for such a busy café.
This pastry shop is definitely recommended to anyone with a sweet tooth.

11/04/2026: What can I say? The place is old, the staff is old, the pastry shop is old (I'm talking about pastries, not freshness). The croissants are truly anonymous. Not to mention the owner, who has a grim face and no greeting, etc., etc. The decor, as is everything, is stuck in the '90s.

I think they've rested on their laurels. The tiramisu is very good (they say it's the best), but I'm sure there are better ones.
All this, given their prices, deserves to be served by staff who are a little more...
On point.
I still think the overall quality-price ratio isn't the best.
Recently revisited, my previous review confirmed.
07/06/2026: This is the first time I have ever left a negative review for any place at all. I was almost amazed by how consistently rude and even passive-aggressive the staff member serving us was, from the very beginning until the end of our visit, when he saw us at the counter ready to pay, turned away, and continued unloading the cutlery basket from the dishwasher. The coffee is average. We will never come to this place again — too negative an experience.
