10/10/2025: I didn't like the ambiance. Everything seemed very simple, and I didn't find it cozy. The tables are very close together, so there's no privacy at all. We didn't want to have a second glass of wine there. The food is excellent, the welcome was okay, but the waitress seemed so annoyed and unfriendly, completely untypical for Italy. No please, no thank you. It's a shame. There won't be a second visit.
07/10/2025: A “local” brasserie that word has got out to the rest of that it’s worth the drive/walk up the hill to try.
We were staying close by (just a 4 min walk ) and tried our luck on a weekday without a reservation … they were fully booked!!! But, they managed to find us a spot provided we were done in an hour.
The service was exactly what we expected - helpful, efficient and friendly. The food probably exceeded our expectations - beautiful taste, good servings and promptly served. Cheap table wine to wash our meal down did the trick.
Highly recommended but also recommend you book!

Good local and national specialties.
Four of us went, and despite the restaurant being crowded, the service was satisfactory and fast. We'll definitely be back.
28/10/2025: A guarantee! Excellent food with a wide selection of Aosta Valley dishes, premium meats, and delicious pizzas.
It has plenty of seating, but reservations are recommended as it's very popular.

15/11/2025: My experience at this restaurant was even worse than I expected. Besides the food not seeming fresh at all, I had a truly unpleasant incident with the waiter. When I politely pointed out that the dish tasted strange, instead of listening to my complaint, he started putting words in my mouth that I never said, as if I was exaggerating or "not understanding food." This was truly unprofessional and even irritating.
The result was rude service, little attention to the customer, and no willingness to resolve the issue. Under this management, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially those who value quality and respect.
03/11/2025: My vegan girlfriend and I came for lunch over the weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a plant-based restaurant in Aosta. I booked through The Fork. The location is beautiful, very quaint, with various shades of green and plants in the paintings and on the walls. We were truly satisfied with the food. We had three first courses: fusilli with red cabbage pesto, rice noodles with vegetables, and a risotto with black rice, pumpkin, and walnuts. All three were delicious. We preferred the first two, but the risotto wasn't bad at all. For our second course, we had the tempeh (topped with a delicious sauce) and a fennel and pear salad. Delicious, the strong, bold flavor of the tempeh and that sauce paired perfectly with the delicate salad on the side. The desserts were also delicious, especially the apple pie. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat in Aosta without animal products!

10/05/2025: Fabulous welcome in a really nice setting. Everything from the welcome to the food and wine were first class.
We had the Alpine menu 4 courses for €40 it was delicious and fantastic value for the quality of food. They have a huge wine selection and you can choose from reasonable prices or treat yourselves.
The service was impeccable and made for a great night for my wife’s birthday.

The shop is very well-kept and the location on the pedestrian street in the center of Aosta is very convenient.

17/06/2025: I went for an aperitif and the experience was really super pleasant! Excellent wine, carefully selected, and a rich and tasty Aosta Valley platter, with quality local products. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a walk in the center. The stone vaulted tavern is fantastic! A place that combines taste and authenticity, to absolutely keep on the list for an aperitif in Aosta!

02/11/2024: Sono andata pochi giorni fa, abbiamo preso due brioches, un paio di baci di dama, un caffè e un latte macchiato. Le brioches erano molli, praticamente flaccide, i baci di dama risultavano gommosi e secchi e il latte macchiato non era un latte macchiato ma un caffè latte. Deludente
