15/07/2024: Born from the determination of the owner, Filippo, after his experience at La Foce, can boast one of the best fish cuisines in the Arezzo province (perhaps the raw millet of the province), and an excellent cellar (especially in whites). Pizza and meat dishes are also very good. Nice and convivial atmosphere with a splendid terrace in the summer. The friendly courtesy of the owner and his staff is irresistible.

15/07/2024: Recommended by other local businesses, in fact the food was good, the waitress was super courteous and kind, we couldn't fully appreciate it, only appetizer, good, pici, good, but after the first forkful we had to leave due to a lot of flies shocking, with sprays of insecticide for hours and during the meal... shame

Il locale si presenta quasi confusionario per la quantità di cose appese, esposte, visibili: poi ci si fa un po' l'occhio ed il tutto risulta piacevole. Viene proposto un menù tipicamente toscano, con poco o niente di concessione ad alternative (e va benissimo così). Abbiamo mangiato due primi - pici all'aglione e lasagne - ed erano buoni, poco da dire. Abbiamo apprezzato anche il servizio assai rapido, nonostante il locale fosse quasi pieno. Prezzi onesti, nonostante la posizione privilegiata non c'è scarto rispetto ad altri locali simili. Forse quest'ultima è la pecca, l'uniformità: bellino, proposte locali e via dicendo però manca quel "di più" che lo fa ricordare come un ristorante dove tornare a mangiare.

20/07/2024: We had a really good dinner. Fairly well-kept location overlooking the valley. Classic Tuscan dishes revisited and well presented. The meat is worth mentioning positively. We had agreed on a single menu for the whole table: Tuscan starter, duck and orange ravioli, pici with wild boar, mixed grill (phenomenal duck), dessert of your choice. Correct quantity served: if necessary, the waiters came by again and again asking if we wanted anything else. Fast service even though there were almost twenty of us.

16/07/2024: Fuori ci sono le zanzare e a me piace l’aria condizionata. Vengo qua, dove appunto non ci sono bestie pungenti e si sta freschi. Andato di lunedi, locale stracolmo. Era un pezzo non prendevo la tartarre, mi ha lasciato piacevolmente stupito e mi son detto “la prossima volta pure”. Chips di tartufo immancabili (ordinate 2 volte) in 4 era doveroso. La bistecca manco a dirlo è uno dei cardini del locale, se ci metti anche una patata fritta, accompagnato da un ottimo vino, la serata scorre, anche troppo veloce. Si finisce col dolce, col cestino che hanno solo qua e che a me piace da matti, nonostante non sia amante dei dolci. Come sempre il servizio (per la mole di clienti, incredibile) impeccabile e gioviale : poca attesa e grande atmosfera di cordialità. Cosi come al ristorante “gemello” qui mi sento a casa. Prezzi ottimi come sempre, più bassi del normale. Come sempre consigliato.

29/07/2024: Fantastically situated near the top of a main street with a view to look over the bustling lane, delicious easy food options with good beers and an Apple cider for those inclined like myself this is a godsend. Usually has sport playing on a big telly and an upstairs seating area to get away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely staff.
