NANNI'S PIZZA

26/07/2025: You never forget a pizza like this... but only because the trauma lingers. Thick, chewy, and raw dough, it tasted like a poorly leavened ciabatta bread that'd been microwaved. Every bite was a fight for survival: you chewed, and the dough, instead of disappearing, swelled in your mouth like construction site insulation, slowly suffocating you. I swear, I had time to reevaluate my entire life while trying to swallow.
And then, the final blow: a hair. Just one, but well-placed. Elegant, right at the top, tucked into the dough, like the icing on the cake of horror. I don't know if it was pubic, the chef's, or a mythological creature, but I only know that it completely ruined my appetite and my faith in humanity.
In short: a nightmare pizza. Not recommended for anyone who wants to live. I'll start by saying that I'm writing this review only after the third time I've found hair in the dough, but that's enough for now. I absolutely don't recommend it; avoid it, yes, but I'm not stupid. I have pictures of everything by the way, so don't let anyone tell me it's not true.

Posto carino con posti dove poter mangiare fuori.
Fritture e patatine buonissime, consigliato a pieni voti!

18/07/2025: Fritto misto eccezionale, rapido, gustoso. Cena al volo in 4 ad Alghero fuori dal circuito dei ristoranti turistici. Locale efficace, idea geniale: ben fatto. Tavolini vicino alla strada trafficata.

08/07/2024: This is a cafe rather than a restaurant and we were not sure what to expect from the food but it turned out to be very good. It was also the cheapest meal we had whilst in Sardinia. The reason we decided to give it a go was the view, as it is located very near the top of the old town close to the castle. We had visited the cafe during the day in 2020 for a drink when it was limited by covid rules, now it serves a wide range of bruschetta and a limited selection of other meals.
The food was very good as was the service from the friendly staff. I would definitely recommend a visit although it is a lot of steps/a big hill to go up to reach it. The tables for the cafe are some way from the premises where the food is cooked and the till is situated but the food still arrived hot, but I found it a slight challenge finding where to pay by card, I think that was just me :-)

21/05/2025: D’extérieur l’endroit ne donne pas envie mais l’intérieur est rénové avec goût et l’accueil très sympathique. Une carte en français et un jus d’orange frais excellent. Des chocolats fait maison très bon et des pancakes fait sur demande!

03/08/2023: Aperitivo per festeggiare una laurea: si dimenticano della torta concordata. Per pura fortuna riescono a rimediare in extremis recuperando dei semifreddi da un altro locale, ma aggiungendo indubbiamente ansia e malumore a festeggiata e parenti. Ciliegina sulla torta, dimenticano di aver concordato una buona porzione di alimenti vegetariani, facendo rimanere festeggiata e parte degli invitati a digiuno. Pizzette concordate: non pervenute. Vi consiglio, per i vostri festeggiamenti, di rivolgervi a locali più professionali.

11/09/2023: Un furto!! Siamo stati in questa gastronomia il venerdì sera in cui si svolgeva la festa del paese, abbiamo preso due cose dal banco di qualità medio bassa e speso 44,70 €. Questo è approfittarsi dei turisti. Quindi state attenti!!
