If you want to taste a real Sacher, made with all the trappings of the original recipe, you can't miss a trip to the Prolo pastry shop. Only here did I find the Sacher made to perfection with the external frosting as crunchy as a thin sheet of chocolate. The quality of the raw materials and the perfect balance of the ingredients, the filling with the jam of their artisanal production and the perfect glazing make their product unique, absolutely up to the Viennese original. For me, without a shadow of a doubt, at Prolo you will find the best Sacher in Novara and its province. And a daughter and granddaughter of Austrians, raised in the cult of this cake, tells you this.
P.s. While you've indulged in tasting their specialty: Fara's kisses, they won't disappoint you!

18/01/2025: The two stars are for the morning service because in the evening I have always found myself well, both in terms of service and quality of the products.
I went in in the morning for a coffee, I understand the confusion of the moment but not a greeting, in fact I was totally ignored and after waiting a long time people who arrived after me were served. I left because I find such rudeness and discourtesy towards customers unacceptable.
If I go back it will only be in the evening.

17/03/2025: Scortesi, come se li disturbassi, mi hanno lanciato i pasticcini nel vassoio come se fossero patatine fritte, facendomi fare brutta figura con gli ospiti, i pasticcini erano ribaltati come se avessero subito un giro su una macchina da rally. Non lo conosiglio, scortesi
28/12/2024: Really nice place. Cute decor and fantastic pastry and coffee. We come here every day for breakfast when in Agrate - we love this place. They also made fantastic cakes for our wedding. Fair prices and amazing products - I don’t understand negative comments. Staffs are always friendly to us!

25/04/2025: Disappointing visit – never again!
Today I visited this place and unfortunately I was disappointed across the board. The tables were full of dirty plates and glasses that had evidently not been cleaned in a while. I had to clear my table myself so I could sit down – totally unacceptable.
After finally placing my order, the waitress returned about 20 minutes later only to tell me that the salad was out. I then tried to order a hamburger, but that wasn't available either. I ended up getting a sandwich that was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price.
The visit to the bathroom was the icing on the cake (in a bad way): the bathroom door on the right didn't close because it was warped. Both bathrooms were very dirty and there wasn't even paper to dry your hands - just disgusting.
Conclusion: I will never set foot in this place again. A real shame about the time and money wasted.

08/10/2024: Il locale si trova in una location estremamente gradevole. I boschi ed i prati che lo circondano infondono un'idea di pace.
Internamente il ristorante è rustico , pulito ed in ordine.
I piatti ordinati sono curati, buoni ed abbondanti. Sia chiaro che il tutto si paga.
Unico piccolo neo in questa immagine idilliaca qualche mozzicone sparso qua e là nel prato di proprietà. Dimenticavo....personale di una cortesia eccezionale!
