04/04/2024: Horrible... the room smelled of mold and sometimes garbage every day, not much to choose from on the menu, location - if there is no snow, even if there was, I can't imagine how a person on skis/snowboard would get directly to the cabin... the road there was only on asphalt and it is not very pleasant to walk uphill after a whole day of skiing in front of the gear. Breakfast disaster! It's still the same, no vegetables, no eggs, nothing, just pastries and always the same ham and salami all the time.. the croissants weren't even for the number of people who lived there, so you came at 7:35 (breakfast from 7:30) and you didn't have a croissant anymore. I wouldn't go back there

04/04/2024: Get the small pastries. So, so delicious. Coffee is great and staff is welcoming. A great stop from skiing just nest to the lift. It has a large terrace with lots of sun exposure and nice view to the mountains.

18/03/2024: Completely mixed dishes. The steak was supposed to arrive before the soups. After withdrawal we were given four cold hard steaks. As hotel guests, we ate out. Ps. The robot took a photo of a beautiful hotel. However, I suggest you pay attention to the waiters.

Un posto davvero molto caratteristico e una cucina davvero ottima, abbiamo preso i pizzoccheri e i paccheri al ragù di cervo come primo poi i cilindri di maialino in porchetta e la originale grigliata bastonata come secondi e abbiamo finito con un dolce davvero ottimo. Una cena squisita, stra-consigliato.

13/03/2024: What a miserable experience! Once we arrive, we sit outside and ask for a menu: there isn't one! The waiter consults with the barmaid and confirms that the menu does not exist! Beautiful! Also because displaying prices is mandatory by law... We decide to order a spritz and a gin and tonic, thinking that they know how to do it in any bar on the globe. The waiter tells us that they have many variations of gin and tonic and spritz..... I, smiling, point out to him that precisely because they have so many variations, a menu is needed! 😂😂😂😂 He tells me that gin and tonic can do it with gin fizz....as if gin fizz were a type of gin.... They bring us gin and tonic and spritzes and four pieces of cold, hardened focaccia. We enjoy our masterpieces, we pay €15, we go away and cross off another place in Sondrio from the list of passable places...... I have the solution for you: remove the words bar or café from the name and sign and insert "...let's try...". You will help to lower the expectations of any customer!

02/09/2023: Mamma mia 🤤 da paura 😱 abbiamo preso spezzatino di manzo con polenta e pizzoccheri, abbiamo mangiato da dio, esistono ancora posti dove mangiare e essere soddisfatti e non dire: "Era meglio se cucinavo a casa" complimenti continuate così non cambiate nulla. Personale gentile e cordiale. Per le recensioni che dicono che non tornerebbero per i piatti e la location saranno anche piatti semplici ma bisogna saperli anche cucinare magari siete abituati a mangiare solo surgelati!?

21/03/2024: Few people at lunch. Simple command: 1 ortolana pizza and 1 pizzocchero. The pizzochero arrives in 10 minutes, the pizza arrives after the pizzocchero was finished... but there were 2 of us, and we wanted to eat together. It's already clear that you don't know much about the profession. 15 euros a pizza. A greengrocer robbery with tomato extracted from a metal box, blended and put on the pizza, 4 small vegetables. Mains water, 3 euros. Not even in the bottle. Go ahead and make fools of foreigners, then when the Italians arrive in the summer you will cry that you don't work. Absurd markups. A 220 gram ball hydrated at 60% costs 15 cents of flour. The mozzarella for pizza that you use in cubes 8 per kg, another 80 cents.. 20 of tomato.. 2 hg of vegetables not even 1 euro.. pizza for 2 euros plus cost of wood and personnel sold for 15. Mains water 3 euros ago 18.. aren't you ashamed?
17/03/2024: We stayed in this hotel for a week in March: I would start with the strong points; the location (in the center of the pedestrian area) the cuisine is good and let's say "abundant"... stop here. For the rest, I think it is painful for a hotel to have a wellness center with cold pool water, two small hydromassage tubs for a fee of €10 each, max 15 minutes... Turkish bath for a fee and obviously various massages... painful, very poor breakfast and with poor quality products...courteous staff but nothing more...and finally, the icing on the cake...after having paid for my room (superior deluxe) by a person who works at the reception I was also told that they would they remitted the expenses with the POS because I rightly wanted to pay for my last drinks with the debit card and evidently this lady didn't like it... After having collected their good money for a deluxe room and having offered poor services. Never again

31/07/2023: We had a lovely meal at this place. We booked in advance and when we came we were taken to a table were there were some dishes on the table already and a few more was served right away. The concept here is that the antipasti is served right away and then the chef comes to explain what you can order. The interior is a bit weird – the place is a dark, old hut with a couple of levels but with lots of different artifacts to decorate the place. And with a fireplace it turned out to be a very cozy place. We decided to have some gnocchi to start with and the chef made two different types for us. As a main meal we decided to have meat – the meat was very tender but maybe a bit salty for me. It was served with some caramelized onions and a lovely local polenta. After the meal we got some cookies and biscuits and we also got a strong digestive drink. All in all a fun, informal dinner with a lovely bottle of Sforzato di Valtellina. The meal was about 140 € (I think the wine was about 40 €) to give you an indication of the price level.
