20/07/2025: Let's start with the assumption that if you're looking for a typical Milanese restaurant, don't go there. You'll be too happy with the hospitality. My husband and I were craving southern Italian fish, and to our surprise, this restaurant thrilled us. Not because of the elaborate dishes, but because of the simple ones. The mother prepares a fish soup with tomato sauce that truly takes you back in time. Davide, the son and owner, is incredibly kind and has maintained the classic table service approach that I adore, as does my husband. I highly recommend you go because the fish is fresh and the ingredients are truly fantastic. Giulia and Paolo.

04/06/2025: Really little, probably some forms of catering think it is enough to mention the south to establish a presumed quality. Lazy, evasive, at times presumptuous service. Several times we had to call or request service after long waits. A dish was wrong, an unrequested label was pushed insistently. The dishes brought to the table were freely assigned to the diners without caring who - had ordered what. Some dishes on the menu were not available, declaring this only after ordering. The quality of the dishes was absolutely not such as to justify the cost, I would define it as classic, traditional cuisine, which is not a bad thing at all, but made in a flat and characterless way. Negligible desserts. Sorry, but our experience was really poor.

25/06/2025: Terrible experience. The shop lies to customers: they claim that the packaging is free, but after paying I discovered that in reality it is paid, and also of poor quality. When I asked for a refund I was denied without any explanation. The sales assistant introduced herself as "Zoriana", but at this point I even doubt that that is her real name. Incorrect and unprofessional behavior. I absolutely do not recommend it

03/07/2025: I went to this place for an aperitif with my friends and I have to say that we had a great time! We had a bottle of excellent Sauvignon on the advice of the waitress, also a platter of cold cuts and cheeses that went very well with the wine. The waitress also brought us a plate of focaccia made by them, very good! Friendly and helpful staff, very cute place!

03/07/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but my visit to Bar Malpighi 8 left me genuinely puzzled – and not in a good way. From the outside, the place looks promising: trendy signage, decent lighting, a bit of that Milanese aperitivo buzz. But once you step in, it quickly becomes clear that this bar is coasting on aesthetics and little else. First off, the service was… apathetic at best. We waited nearly 20 minutes to place an order, despite the place being half-empty. When the waiter finally appeared, he looked like we were disturbing his evening. I get that laid-back is part of the vibe, but there’s a fine line between cool and careless – and this was firmly in the latter. The drinks? Overpriced and underwhelming. My Negroni tasted like it had been sitting in the sun since brunch. My friend’s spritz came in what I can only describe as a perfume sample portion – and yes, it was mostly ice. They charged €12 for that theatrical insult. The final touch was the aperitivo food – a tiny tray of soggy chips and two sad crackers that felt like they had been recycled from the table next to us. It’s Milan, guys. You’re supposed to care about the details. To be fair, the playlist was good – but unless you’re going there just to Shazam songs and look at people pretending to enjoy themselves, I’d strongly suggest walking a few blocks elsewhere. Milan has too many genuinely good bars for this one to get away with being so mediocre. Avoid unless you’re in it for the Instagram photo and nothing more.

23/06/2025: We stopped for a snack. Very nice service, the waitress brought us olives, nuts and chips, we had a beer and a Coke, so we rate how we felt and it was 5 out of 5. ❤️

23/06/2025: The best places in the world are discovered by wondering around, not recommended. A wrong turn, a one way street, one parking spot available, and we were craving mid morning coffee and pastries. Driving around Bergamo and it's surrounding cities. Amazing service, employees, and coffee. The brioches were truly out of this world.

16/06/2025: The lady at the bar counter was very kind, normal, small inside with a large outside space. The cappuccino was good, the brioche wasn't to my liking but obviously it's a question of taste.

11/03/2025: Excellent pastries and cake, small place but with a nice outdoor area to use in good weather. They also join Too Good To Go, so give it a try!

19/07/2025: Excellent fish and attentive service. The ambiance is classic at the entrance, with a renovated interior. Prices are a bit high, but they're appropriate for the quality of the ingredients.

12/06/2025: My furnishing experience with Lops was exceptional! The couple E. (our furnishing consultant) and F. (assembly team leader) proved to be super successful and efficient. Surely the price level is not low/cheap but choosing Lops means choosing uncommon, custom-made and quality furniture. For your home you have to spend the right amount, according to your availability, the important thing is to be satisfied. And I am with Lops. I list the reasons that made my experience successful: 1- I needed to furnish a completely empty house, not a room. E. was assigned to me from the first day and no one took her away from me along the way. 2- I have 2 children, I never arrived on time for any of the appointments. I never received any jokes from E. nor was I sent home even once 3- I have 2 children, I almost always took them with me, I prepared food in the shop, changed diapers with plenty of hot water in a clean and equipped bathroom, let them play. never any problems, no complaints 4- I mean everything, we designed it together, È and I, no component of my furniture is standard, everything is custom. E. listened, gave weight to any request I made, in a serious way and tried to satisfy it where possible 5- after the first room, I was given a significant discount, but not in time (eg. if you book by XX), no rush , things have to be done well and I had almost 5 months available 6- with the design confirmed, E. placed the order.. I don't know how he did it, I don't think ordering 4 rooms was a stupid thing. I only know that everything arrived, I mean everything on the same day 7- F. is a war machine. He had 2 days to assemble 4 rooms. He did it, even if he skipped lunch. Crazy Thanks E., thanks F., thanks Lops See you next time!!

I highly recommend both the shop and design support to anyone looking for custom furniture.
