27/03/2024: An experience to forget. The chicken cutlet tasted bad and you couldn't chew it or cut it with a knife because it was so hard. So far, the worst place I've eaten in Italy. Shame.

01/04/2024: We arrived late and without a reservation and they gave us a table without a reservation, very friendly and the food was delicious!! Highly recommended

02/04/2024: Wrong order resulting in an interminable wait, despite the empty place, remedied with hasty preparation and a burnt hamburger. The format of the sandwiches needs to be completely revised as they are inedible and flavourless.
Very bad experience surrounded by an unpleasant smell which unfortunately makes me fear for the quality of the products used and the health of the customers.
I will never go back again.

04/02/2024: The place could also be very nice, it's a shame about the management, we went in for an aperitif, the tables were all dirty, the waiter passed by with the tray but didn't pick up anything, there was no question of ordering something, in the end disconcerted there was and we left, followed by other quite incredulous customers. 03/03/2024: The pizza is very good. The place is large, there were 2/3 tables with at least 10/15 people at the table, but unfortunately there was a lot of confusion and it was almost impossible to talk between people at the same table. The service was good. Despite the confusion on Saturday evening, the waiting time was not excessive and the staff was courteous. Average price for a pizza with "black" dough, beer and dessert around 20 euros.

22/10/2023: A great cafe with amazing views of the lake! We stopped here for some food and coffee and it didn’t disappoint. We got the carbonara and lasagna and both were delicious. We did notice in the menu they were labeled as “frozen ready meals” which I’m not sure if that means they are premade and heat them up? But the food was still really good so we didn’t mind. Also got this green tea and pistachio ice cream combo which was good but a little overpriced ( 10€ ). All in all though a great place to rest and enjoy the views!
16/10/2023: No sabíamos donde comer y fue todo un acierto, precios razonables, comida excelente y lo mejor las vistas que tienes. Empezamos con una bruschetta con tomate seco, berenjena y pesto que estaba brutal (lo recomiendo muchísimo), seguimos con un plato de pasta boloñesa y un risotto a la milanesa (todo muy rico) y terminamos con un par de cafes.
El trato por parte del personal estupendo.

Erano in due al banco, e nessuna delle due mi ha chiesto cosa volessi, erano più impegnate a parlare tra di loro.
Non ci ritornerò più.

16/10/2023: Lovely restaurant directly overlooking the lake. The prices are a bit steep but in line with the rest of the restaurants in Varenna. Highly recommend their goat cheese salad, I've had it twice already and will be coming back for more on my next trip to Varenna!

05/04/2024: Really great food, staff were very busy but still managed to find time to offer great service- food was the cheapest by miles we could find in Varenna, and was also great. Really nice stone building with a good atmosphere and better music.
04/04/2024: You enter the restaurant and the first thing they tell you is that "you have to wait 40 minutes, we sit down and we have to order the menu.
Then they give me the notebook and the pen so I can write down what I want to order, that note goes to the kitchen but well, and the boy leaves and leaves us there with the note.
They don't tell us anything about drinking and they keep us there waiting, the waiter passes by, I raise my hand and say "excuse me" he looks at me and continues forward. After all, I have to get up, I ask for a 1l water and my surprise comes when they give me a small 330cl bottle and charge me €2 for it.
On top of that they brought me another different pizza when I put speck e zola and they brought me another one.
We see Italian people paying with a card, so I say "ok, you can with a card" and what is my surprise? When we have finished eating, I tell him with a card and he tells me that there isn't any, that it has to be cash, and we tell him that we have seen that if there is a card, it was either that or we didn't pay because we no longer had any cash left. .
I don't recommend going here

31/03/2024: Chic, somewhat old-fashioned pretentious café in the center of Lecco. The prices are very fair, the service is quick and really helpful. Went there repeatedly for a small coffee or snack and despite a lot of work, the service was always quick and friendly.
30/03/2024: The bathroom creepypasta, never ask for directions to the bathroom! (Not just at three in the morning) The staff are rude and make you spend a lot of money! They don't have fantasy, failed!!!

17/03/2024: Let me start by saying that I go to this bar very often because the quality of its products is exceptional. This morning I went with my mom to have breakfast and the bar was completely full. After sitting down and waiting for 15 minutes the waitress comes to take our order. 30 minutes pass without anything arriving, and for goodness sake the bar was full and the girl was alone in the room. At a certain point, after waiting patiently, I ask the girl if our order was arriving and she responds very badly, telling me that there were a lot of people. I reiterate the fact that I just wanted to know how long it would take and she goes away without even giving me a smile or an answer. Another 10 minutes pass and the girl returns to the room and guess which tables she serves... Those who arrived after us!!!!!!! This bar has an enviable quality but the girl this morning was rude, rude and not at all professional! He didn't serve one table, but 4!!! Everyone arrived later!!!!!!!! Despite the quality I will never go back again.... I'm very sorry because it was my favorite bar!
It would be nice if the girl, even if under pressure, was a little more polite... and if she could even manage a half smile it wouldn't be bad...

18/02/2024: Very nice place... kindness of the staff..I didn't try the cocktails but a huge choice of wines accompanied by excellent appetizers...we will be happy to return...recommended to stop for an excellent aperitif..BRAVI 👏
