17/07/2026: I come here often, both for breakfast and for the bread and ready-made food (made by them). The girls at the counter are always very kind and smiling, which is not to be taken for granted. The croissants are delicious and the cappuccino is always made to perfection. As for the ready-made food, the cod with potatoes on Fridays is the best, but the selection is very varied.

07/07/2026: This morning I went to this bar/bakery. I had ordered takeout pizzas and focaccia, but we ordered croissants, coffee, and juices. Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. The croissant was practically inedible: hard and dry. I politely asked the girl at the counter if it was made that day, and she said yes. At that point, I politely pointed out that it wasn't good. The girl called the owner, who, instead of listening to my complaint and seeking a solution, began to justify himself by saying it was the heat and that we're used to eating croissants that crumble. He then raised his voice, rather aggressively claiming that he sells a hundred of his croissants a day, implying that I didn't understand anything about it. I simply replied that I had approached them politely and courteously, and that a simple apology or an offer to replace the croissant with something else would have sufficed. Furthermore, looking closer at the counter, I also noticed several flies resting on the food, a detail that certainly didn't inspire confidence. In the end, I paid for my food and left. I've worked in the restaurant industry myself, and I know that a bad day or a less-than-perfect product can happen. What sets one business apart from another is the ability to take criticism with professionalism, trying to remedy it rather than responding arrogantly. It's how you treat a customer that really makes the difference.
