after my appetizer I got distracted answering some emails, when I realized they had forgotten my order about 20 minutes had passed and when they served me they had reversed the courses. I lost about half an hour of work but the thing that makes me sad is that a similar event happened to me in the past in this restaurant.

Excellent for lunch break, but also for aperitifs and dinners with friends.
Characteristic and very welcoming pub, in the heart of the city.
The professionalism and attention to the different needs of customers complete the Service.

29/05/2025: Family atmosphere, welcoming! All the staff is very attentive to customer care. During lunch break, the daily menu always changes and satisfies all tastes at a cost of Euro 11.00.
In the evening the atmosphere is a real English pub.
Highly recommended!!🥰

22/04/2025: We stopped for a quick "hit and run" while visiting the city. First of all, very friendly and nice people, then we had a plate of really excellent Casoncelli together with a Messina beer on tap and a delicious prosecco! A small and well-kept place, highly recommended for the quality of the products and the cuisine.... and of course I repeat the kindness of the owners!

03/04/2025: I have known this characteristic place since it opened a long time ago and I went there today for lunch with a dear friend, the drinks have always been the non plus ultra and for every taste, but the food was truly topical: fantastic mezz' rigatoni with wild boar ragù (cooked mostly al dentone as my Neapolitan uncle says) and as a second course sliced beef with potatoes! But the current management is truly top-notch! Go and it is better to book slightly in advance due to the modest size...

13/05/2025: A truly evocative evening at the Castello di Brescia: the view from up there is breathtaking, especially with the full moon illuminating the city. We chose to have an apericena: relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed a light caprese accompanied by a cold beer — simple but pleasant. The staff was kind and welcoming. An experience that I recommend, especially on clear evenings!

08/02/2025: Welcoming, well-kept, intimate and reserved environment even though the restaurant is located on one of the main intersections in the city. Staff helpful, courteous and never inappropriate. Personal, attentive, refined service that allows you to be completely at ease even in a refined context. Varied menu, mainly fish, refined but not niche, therefore suitable for the tastes of most people, including me who generally don't like fish. Unquestionably excellent dishes and generous portions. Refined wines, very good and expertly recommended by the maitre d' to pair with the chosen dishes.
The price indicated refers to a dinner for 5 people with mixed appetizers to share, a first course each, 4 desserts, 2 bottles of wine, water and coffee.
Truly a pleasant discovery in an unusual corner of Brescia!
Absolutely recommended.

19/04/2025: Very good pastries and brioches, but only to take away. If half the tables are occupied, expect them to come and take your order within 10-15 minutes.
17/04/2025: In my opinion they could even close. To pay for 20 minutes, to have a coffee another 15, on a weekday where there weren't many people. They also look at you as if they were doing you a favor.
