26/10/2025: We enjoyed a delicious cappuccino. The place is very beautiful and relaxing, right in Piazza San Giacomo in Udine.

07/10/2025: We had a morning coffee there. The espresso was absolutely sublime. Service friendly. Bustling atmosphere. Really top notch place.

14/09/2025: Very cozy place with delicious beers and the usual high quality Italian coffee. The sight of local old gentlemen playing cards under the arcades takes you back a bit to a more relaxed old world. The staff is nice and helpful.

25/10/2025: We had an Aperol Spritz and a Campari Spritz. Lots of ice and very little Spritz. Not even a crisp or a snack nearby. Rude people, to boot. €8 wasted.

26/08/2025: A charming spot in the heart of San Daniele with prices in line with the area. The atmosphere is well-kept and the stay pleasant. The staff is a sore point... The waitress walked past us "idle" and never asked us what we wanted. We had to stop her to order. The table was dirty (drinks from the previous person) and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Anyway, she was kind and polite... not a waitress.

22/10/2025: I chose to go to this highly regarded establishment based on the reviews; I expected much more. The only positive aspect of the evening was the selection of six draft beers, but the selection of any canned beers was ridiculously expensive. The hotdog was disappointing, as the untoasted bun was barely half the length of the sausage and not even warm. The condiments (mustard, horseradish) were almost nonexistent. An evening to forget.

31/08/2025: A must-visit place. The manager assures us they have a few hundred beers... depending on your tastes.

04/10/2025: We tried the brioches: one with jam and one with cream. The pastry was good, but we found them excessively greasy and, above all, very thinly filled (perhaps a teaspoonful, for example). The place is also nice, but we couldn't even talk because the voices of everyone else in the room echoed so loudly.

31/08/2025: Brioche with crispy, buttery puff pastry. The brioche fillings are delicious. We paid €2 each for takeout. The experience was okay; I expected a wider selection of pastries, considering it's called a pastry shop. To me, it felt more like a well-stocked café. A bit pricey for the quality.

10/07/2025: A strategically located venue in the center of Lignano Pineta, with an excellent and wide selection of food and cocktails, carefully prepared with quality ingredients. The service is friendly and welcoming, highly recommended!

27/07/2025: Service was below par. Cleanliness was even better: zero. A young and very casual waitress served us: we ordered two coffees. When she brought them, the table was still dirty and set by previous guests. I pointed this out, and after putting the coffees away, the waitress said, "I'll take care of it now." She took away two glasses without cleaning the table, and didn't even bring sugar.

10/07/2025: Clean atmosphere. Very clean and welcoming place. It's worth it for a summer or winter aperitif. It's located under the arches, opposite the statue of Julius Caesar.

16/10/2025: A bar with very good products, excellent coffee, and very knowledgeable and friendly staff, especially the lady who served us. She was very kind. We'll definitely be back. A++++++

08/10/2025: Very delicious food. We received a friendly welcome and even got a small cappuccino to try. I'm absolutely thrilled. Where else can you find that these days? We'd love to come back.

11/10/2025: It was evening aperitif time... We waited forever for our drinks... There were no customers seated inside, only outside. Two very kind and polite waiters served (they apologized several times for the wait) and were quick to serve. We went to pay (a bill I found quite steep) for a small beer, a Coke, and two non-alcoholic cocktails (with lots of ice) for €18... I noticed that there were four people behind the bar preparing the drinks, but given the wait time, I thought there was only one person. Perhaps faster staff behind the bar and a few more outside serving would significantly shorten the wait. I can't imagine if it had been busy inside too...

27/08/2025: We ate at the restaurant today, and the servers were all very attentive and friendly! It was completely packed, but everything went quickly, and the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

19/08/2025: Breakfast was poor. Being Italians, we prefer sweet foods, but at this hotel, breakfast was mostly savory. They had more cold cuts than sweet options. Only two types of croissants, and rarely any cakes. Service was almost nonexistent. We constantly had to alert the staff when water and cups were out.

12/10/2025: I asked for information on a quality product from our Friuli region. I was given the wrong answer the first time, walking in a hurry, and the second time with my back turned after specifying that it had a different origin. Come on!

26/08/2025: Very close to the beach, the bar is cute and welcoming. The waitress was friendly. It's a shame they didn't have the pancakes we wanted to try (the batter ran out from the weekend), but I settled for a yogurt bowl with bananas and strawberries. It was small for the price (€5.90) ​​but refreshing, even though it was missing some ingredients like the chocolate chips. I also ordered an iced matcha latte with strawberry. What I got was a slop with industrial strawberry syrup, brownish matcha that didn't taste like matcha, and a layer of milk that didn't even mix with the rest. Unfortunately, it was undrinkable! For €5.00, the strawberries should at least be fresh and made on the spot, and the matcha should taste like matcha (either too little was used or it wasn't good quality). I'm speaking from having tried quite a few; in fact, this drink has been available in Milanese cafes for a while. Before suggesting the latest trends, it would be best to test them out! It's a shame, because I've been wanting to try their breakfast options for a while!

02/10/2025: I purchased a surprise bag from this store via the "Too Good to Go" app. Pickup was scheduled for 6:30 PM after driving to no avail and paying for parking. I received a cancellation email from the store at 6 PM. The shameful thing is that they require a minimum of two hours' notice if you want to cancel, while they themselves cancel your order shortly before, not caring about people like me who had to drive a quarter of an hour or more and pay for parking since the street where they're located is a restricted traffic zone.

13/09/2025: I returned to this pastry shop after 15 years, and I must say the quality hasn't changed. I'm very happy to have found the kind lady again, who I believe is one of the owners. The rest of the staff is excellent, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and the crowds are typical of a city center like those of years past. I was pleasantly surprised that pets are welcome (especially since there's a vet right next door—also excellent!). Last but not least: finally, I don't have to compromise between a perfectly made cappuccino and a mediocre brioche, or vice versa, because everything at Dusci is delicious! It really feels like I've gone back to a time when shop workers did their job with passion: it's thanks to these people that life has that little something extra that makes every day special. 💖
