07/12/2024: Recently renovated place, which may remind you of Asian nightclubs, with the presence of dark painted wood and bamboo ashlars. Wide selection of beers including IPA and the classic stout, Guinness. You can also drink a good cocktail and opt for gin, for example, from the most classic to the most oriental with hints of cumin and spices. Eddie is a very good barman. Drinks are served with appetizers, such as potatoes and dehydrated plantains. Country potatoes rock. The staff is attentive, competent and kind. The owners rock. If you are vegan there is a wide selection of sandwiches and don't miss to get the Swiss veg. Go there!

04/11/2024: Locanda del Mulino di Gorzano is an enchanting place, perfect for an authentic Emilian culinary experience. During our visit, we savored the delicious mixed antipasto del Mulino, followed by the classic Tortellini in capon broth and the refined Tortelloni Vecchia Modena with spun balsamic vinegar, all dishes performed with a unique care for local traditions. The desserts, in particular the hot Sfogliatina with custard and the inn's Tiramisu, were the perfect culmination of an excellent lunch. The cuisine and hospitality of the Locanda make the restaurant an unmissable stop for those seeking the authentic Modena flavor in a welcoming and refined environment

19/12/2024: Real home cooking that I appreciated very much. Borlengo (every Wednesday) is a must. Excellent tortellinoni, shame about the mushrooms which were not up to par. The room girl worked for three people. The 5 stars are for her, a criticism instead for the property which should make up for it and help at least at the checkout. Absolutely worth trying.

14/12/2024: On the way back from Modena, towards Bologna, we found not only excellent food but also joy, friendliness and courtesy. Everything is truly delicious: superb tortelloni with porcini mushrooms, I haven't had such good ones in a long time! Super recommended, but bring kindness and friendliness with you, because they really deserve it!

26/11/2024: ... inimmaginabile niente di più, caffetteria con annesso laboratorio che sforna di continuo ogni delizia dolce e salata, bomboloni, gnocco fritto, pizza, di tutto di più, locale sempre gremito ma il servizio al banco è veloce ed efficiente, correttissimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo, considerando il tipo di locale merita in pieno il voto massimo.

15/11/2024: Posto trovato con the fork con lo sconto. Il posto è bello,scenografico per i bambini. Siamo stati a novembre...entrati alle 19.30,sala freddissima!!! Mio figlio ha mangiato con il giubbotto addosso per intenderci. Cmq cameriere carine e gentili. Ordiniamo 2 pizze e una cotoletta e patatine. Dopo neanche 5 minuti arriva tutto a tavola. Le pizze non erano gran ché. Non lo consiglierei.

14/10/2024: Отличное место! Внутри парусника, прекрасный зал на два этажа и великолепная кухня!!! Заказывали пиццы, fritto misto, dolce!!! Все очень вкусно, быстро и с хорошим обслуживанием!!!

01/01/2025: Informal and welcoming place. The fried gnocco is light and tasty, accompanied by quality cured meats. Even the tigelle, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, are delicious. The staff is friendly and the service quick. An authentic Modena dining experience that I highly recommend.

20/12/2024: Let's start from the fact that they made us sit in an external room, closed but not insulated and therefore cold, despite a very useless mushroom. We then move on to the bill, €81. Two people, 10 tigelle, 8 dumplings. A mixed platter of cured meats, 1 slice of mortadella, 2 of ham, 5 of salami, a shitload of ricotta and a ridiculous amount of jam. The cheeses on the platter were if not poor, perhaps even more so. An edamer, I say what the hell does it have to do with the Modenese tradition, bah and a caciotta, both of which are poor anyway. Truly ridiculous ham platter not for the quantity but for the quality. In Emilia, serving a ham like this is truly an embarrassment. I eat ham, of many different qualities and yours, even if it has the Parma or other brands, was from the supply chain that serves discount stores. Last but not least, for €5, a plate of grilled vegetables consisting of a spring onion in balsamic vinegar, 3 slices of microscopic aubergines, 2 slices of half a courgette and then 2 measly pieces of dried tomato and 4 mushrooms in oil. If you need to eat well there is a better place 200m away. Outrageous price, poor service, non-existent quality. It was a €50 meal to stay away from. Will I come back? Not even if they offer it to me. Oh €5 3 slices of stracchino, which although good, seems ridiculous to me. How much do you sell it for at €70 per kg? Not even 70g were…

17/11/2024: Suggestive location in the village of Montalbano di Zocca (MO), atmosphere of times past, rustic and homely, kind and welcoming staff. Mountain menu revisited with simple but truly delicious ingredients. Excellent portions as well as the choice of wines. I highly recommend the Rectory.

10/11/2024: I review after 2 lunches at the restaurant on different occasions and seasons. On both occasions the dishes served were of absolute quality, first and second courses homemade and cooked with recipes capable of combining tradition and originality. Beautiful location and prices appropriate to the quality. A tip: try the passatelli and tortellini.

05/01/2025: Tigelle and piadine with a myriad of combinations of different ingredients. We opted for the gourmet menu consisting of 5 tigelle, all good and with excellent combinations. The service was quick. The location is small and has few tables inside.

04/01/2025: We were greeted and served by a very attentive and kind waitress. We took a lunch break during our walk downtown. Absolutely worth trying.
