21/05/2026: Hotel Locanda del Mulino is a charming, rustic hotel that blends beautifully into the landscape. The building's structure is quite old, giving it a certain old-fashioned feel. A real, rotating watermill attached to the side of the building adds to its charm and Mediterranean character. The hotel's restaurant offers excellent Italian cuisine, the service is exceptionally friendly, and you feel very well taken care of.
When visiting Maranello, I highly recommend it as one of the best options in the area.

We had a second course of pasta dishes (tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles and tortelloni with mushrooms), sliced beef, and fried porcini mushrooms (really generous). The fried gnocco was good, and the tigelle offered instead of bread were also good.

Very close to Modena but surrounded by greenery
Very clean and welcoming atmosphere
Really friendly staff
We'll definitely be back to try new dishes.

The Ferrari Museum Cafe

As another reviewer had said to which I agree…..
“The biggest disappointment is how static everything is. There is nothing interactive, no sound design, no immersive elements, no behind-the-scenes look at the design or engineering.”
Also did the factory bus tour. If you like looking at the exterior of commercial buildings and a view of the Fiorano circuit from a distance then by all means this is for you. Otherwise, don’t waste your money. Tour the museum and call it a day.

07/07/2026: You pay for the lard and parmesan for the tigelle, the waiters lose orders, and anyway, the tigelle for two are good, the gnocco for two is good, the cured meats, stracchino, and arugula, two bottles of water—one is divine, and the dessert is €83.
I ate well, but for gnocco and tigelle, it seems a bit much for lunch. Without a tablecloth, I mean, in a place that's not a restaurant... Personally, I don't know if I'll go back.
06/07/2026: A fantastic place for an authentic food experience in Modena! The food was delicious and unique, and the friendly staff took the time to explain how each dish should be enjoyed, which made the visit even more special. Prices are very reasonable, the bar is open late, and there’s a large parking area right next to it. Highly recommended!

23/12/2025: I've been getting takeout lunch almost every day for a long time now, and I've appreciated the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of the kitchen.
I've seen the suppliers deliver the raw ingredients, all of which are of high quality, and that in itself is a guarantee of what you'll taste.
With rare exceptions, I've always had a good experience, and in fact, I keep coming back.
10/12/2025: Despite the late hour, I was served kindly, the food was delicious, and the owners were very kind. If I were to ever come back to Modena, I would definitely return.

30/05/2026: Very good location, there is parking and a spacious room with everything you need.
The only minus is the breakfast. I was specifically looking for a hotel with a savory breakfast, not pastries and coffee. In the end, the saleswoman said to choose one pastry and a drink. When I asked if I could take vegetables or fish, she said that this is the gastronomy department and I can't choose from there. I was disappointed with the breakfast, because I was counting on more nutritious dishes than a croissant with cappuccino.

Excellent traditional cuisine (superb tortellini, thin-crust, well-seasoned lasagna, mixed roasts, cockerel, and breaded chicken). Traditional desserts like zuppa inglese and Portuguese milk.
Excellent service, very friendly staff.
Large, well-kept, and pleasant green spaces.
In short, we'll definitely be back!
04/02/2026: Typical local agriturismo with good, authentic, traditional cuisine made with top-quality ingredients. Helpful and friendly staff. A well-maintained, typical country restaurant. Ample parking. Recommended for its excellent value! (The tortellini - tagliatelle and pears in Lambrusco are exceptional.) The wine is excellent.

28/05/2026: I had a huge beef tartare and a Space beer. The beer was excellent and reasonably priced, but the tartare was unfortunately quite small—it was probably 100-150g, but it was layered on top of some lettuce to make it look bigger. It didn't taste great, and unfortunately, it had been minced (I assume), and the consistency was like a pâté. Overall rating: 3.5/5⭐
22/02/2026: I'm writing even though I've known Marco for a few years now, but tonight I want to compliment the entire staff. Excellent ingredients, we ate a bit of everything (really good), reasonable prices, and the beer was delicious.
It's a half-hour drive, but it's worth it!
