From the moment we arrived, the owners and their family treated us with a level of kindness and generosity that is truly rare. We came to Maranello for a Ferrari inspired half marathon and expected a simple place to stay—but what we received was so much more. They went far above and beyond in every possible way. They helped arrange transportation for us multiple times without ever asking for anything in return, saving us from renting a car and making our entire trip smoother and more enjoyable. At one point, they even offered us the opportunity to stay closer to the Ferrari factory so we could fully experience everything happening in town. That level of thoughtfulness is something we will never forget. The restaurant itself is outstanding. The wild boar stew with tigelle and grilled vegetables was absolutely incredible—authentic, rich, and perfectly prepared. Every meal felt like a true taste of the region. The history of this place makes it even more special. Knowing that it was once a working mill from centuries ago adds a unique depth to the experience—you truly feel connected to the heritage of the region while enjoying incredible food and hospitality But what makes this place truly special is the people. 25/03/2026: It was a very pleasant surprise. I discovered it while visiting the Ferrari Museum. The reviews I'd read were true, and the reality was even better. A street-side kiosk with welcoming, professional staff. The tigelle and gnocco fritto are good quality. The cured meats and cheeses are excellent. I haven't tried the piada, but from what I've seen arriving at other tables, it looks great. The desserts are more than delicious. Perfect value for money. You have to try it.

22/03/2026: This review refers to the restaurant. The Friday evening menu is interesting, featuring a fixed-price, unlimited buffet of seafood appetizers. A wide variety of hot and cold appetizers are available. Shellfish, mollusks, and more: fried, grilled, and stewed. Lots of well-prepared vegetables. The quality is more than decent, and the price is reasonable. The place is far from satisfactory: small, crowded, and unbearably noisy, with waiters and customers milling around you. It's impossible to talk. The value for money would be acceptable if the place were much less crowded and more soundproofed. I'll return another evening and hope to see this review improve.

23/12/2025: I've been getting takeout lunch almost every day for a long time now, and I've appreciated the kindness of the staff and the cleanliness of the kitchen. I've seen the suppliers deliver the raw ingredients, all of which are of high quality, and that in itself is a guarantee of what you'll taste. With rare exceptions, I've always had a good experience, and in fact, I keep coming back.

22/02/2026: I'm writing even though I've known Marco for a few years now, but tonight I want to compliment the entire staff. Excellent ingredients, we ate a bit of everything (really good), reasonable prices, and the beer was delicious. It's a half-hour drive, but it's worth it! Well done!
