The first thing that strikes you is the setting: being welcomed into the village of Casertavecchia, with its narrow streets, soft lighting, and gradually opening spaces, immediately creates a warm and authentic atmosphere, unlike the usual reception halls. The food was one of the highlights: plentiful, carefully crafted, and above all, deeply rooted in the local area. From the appetizers wandering around the village to the dishes served at the table, you could sense the quality of the ingredients and the desire to serve well, without rushing. The final buffet was a true celebration within a celebration. The staff was always present but never intrusive, which is not to be taken for granted. You felt looked after, but in a natural way. Throughout the evening, too, great attention was paid to timing and to the guests, both young and old. A word of advice to those who choose Villa Hirta: trust the experience of those who manage it, especially when organizing the itinerary and the moments of the day, because that's where the location really shines. In conclusion, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine, convivial, and elegant experience, not the classic "everything the same" event. We will definitely return, even just to relive the atmosphere.

13/02/2026: You don't need to go to a seaside resort to enjoy excellent seafood. At Locanda Battisti in the center of Caserta, you can enjoy excellent seafood in various ways. The wine list is well-suited for a variety of pairings, from local wines and sparkling wines to national and international selections. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the discreet and competent staff will make you feel at home.

25/01/2026: We chose this place for brunch, and what can I say? We had a great time! Starting with the decor, reminiscent of an American grandmother's kitchen, and continuing with the menu (sweet, savory, American breakfast, pancakes, waffles, omelets, and more). The portions are generous and filling, and the staff is truly friendly! We'll definitely be back, perhaps to try the lunch menu.

22/02/2026: The place is very welcoming, and the atmosphere is incredibly pleasant. The beer selection is particularly extensive. The owner, with whom I had the pleasure of chatting for a while, gave me the impression of a person who truly makes his work a passion. I will gladly return.

02/02/2026: A very quaint place. The food isn't anything special, it's good and clichéd (not that that's a bad thing), but the pub shines with its extensive and good-quality beer selection. There are also several board games to play. It's a very quiet place, and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back.

28/09/2025: Excellent location, two blocks from the palace, very centrally located with all the amenities and nightlife in the area. The apartment was soundproofed, spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished. It was hi-tech, equipped with a mini fridge stocked with drinks. The bathroom was equipped with a personal hygiene kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.). Breakfast was plentiful at the on-site bar, with very kind and professional staff.

18/01/2026: I've been away for a long time, and aside from the long wait, I have to say that the quality, what little there is, has dropped significantly. We ordered three pizzas that we didn't like: sour tomato, a rather indigestible dough, and some strange-tasting caramelized onions. Then there's the 33cl beers for €4.50, which is out of the question. Finally, the icing on the cake: adding an extra drink to the bill (it was water for €2.50) is a trick as old as the hills.

17/02/2026: So we ate a pizza that was nothing short of fabulous!!! There are some things that need to be revisited in my opinion, such as: eliminating the parking fee (€3) since the menu prices are still high, and the staff needs to smile more!

02/01/2026: Yesterday I visited this little bar with my girlfriend, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Caserta Vecchia, and if I could, I'd give it more stars. Since it's the middle of winter, the roaring fireplace helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in this family-run bar. There's care and attention to detail, from the exterior decorations to the beautiful writings on the interior walls, and the inviting array of desserts that you notice as soon as you enter. The desserts are truly delicious, homemade. We ate a variety of desserts, but I absolutely loved the crostata, uniquely delicious and a generous portion. The family owners are very friendly and kind, and the prices are fair. There's a family atmosphere, a welcoming, and a warm welcome. I'll definitely be back. I recommend this bar to everyone; it's become a favorite place for me.

24/10/2025: Super cute bar. Prices are reasonable for the location and the taste. Cappuccino and slice of cake €6.

04/01/2026: A typical Irish pub all in green, a small, great atmosphere, and you can eat your sandwich while watching the football match. For my sandwich, I had the Queenwood, and I have to say, it was good. The ingredients were good, and the meat melted in my mouth, even though it was quite a chunk. My other friends made their own sandwiches, and the burger was good too. We had stuffed jalapenos as an appetizer, which were delicious. I'd go again.

31/12/2025: The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The dishes are tasty and the selection is quite extensive, as is the selection of beers. The wait for your food is a bit long, and the atmosphere isn't ideal if you want to sit around the table and chat, given the high background noise.
