13/10/2024: Disappointing experience at the Spazio Piper Oktoberfest I am a regular visitor to Spazio Piper, where the food is usually good, but unfortunately the Oktoberfest event has always fallen short of expectations. This year, once again, the experience was disappointing. On Saturday night the place was packed, probably beyond their capacity to manage. The wait for our orders was a good hour and 45 minutes. Once the food arrived, the quality was mediocre: sausages poorly cooked and served in a careless manner, all at a decidedly exaggerated price. The dish that left me most perplexed was the pork shank, an Oktoberfest classic. For €17, I expected a whole shank, but instead I only received a small slice, perhaps a portion derived from a shank that covered 3-4 plates. It almost seems like they ran out of shins, but the result was unsatisfactory to say the least. (To be honest, I would have preferred to pay €25 but eat it whole, especially after waiting 1:45 h) In conclusion, although Spazio Piper offers good food, the Oktoberfest event is always a fiasco (at least the times I've been there). This year was the last straw, with exaggerated prices and a service that leaves a lot to be desired. I would like to point out that I have left various reviews on other accounts for previous positive experiences, but it seemed right to also report this experience so that you can improve.
