Break House
Aosta
13/02/2025: I stopped to eat here with my girlfriend, I had a calzone, nothing particularly good but it was still worth eating. My girlfriend ordered pappardelle with venison ragú, which for some mysterious reason, had a surprisingly similar taste, smell, color and texture to a classic beef ragú. Who knows, perhaps a rare case of local evolution, but certainly not the fault of the restaurateur.
08/02/2025: Impeccable service, very friendly waitress and top notch pizza.
THANK YOU & BRAVO

Pizzeria Belvedere
Aosta
01/02/2025: A boss who is not very welcoming and quite pushy. We went there with friends. Surprise when paying! I ordered a Milanese escalope with salad thinking that was the accompaniment but no! €15 for a cutlet as thin as cigarette paper and €6 for a salad! Tap water charged €3.50 and they charged us for 2 bottles of wine instead of just one!... Quite disappointed!
22/01/2025: Too bad I didn't read the reviews first! We don't know why restaurants like this are still open!! We decide to go in as we were passing through, 3 adults and a 2 year old sleeping in the stroller. The owner annoyedly asks us if the child necessarily had to be in the stroller (absurd) after our "yes" he makes us sit at one of the empty tables (this on a Tuesday evening with only two tables occupied by 4 people in total so it can't be explained acting like a nuisance, probably seeing other reviews he also hates children).
We sit down and order 2 cuts (€18 each) and a pizza, a bottle of wine (€20) and a water.
The food arrives within 2 minutes, the very little waiting time is inexplicable as I also have a business.
The meat was inedible raw, tasted of nothing and seemed almost pre-cooked and reheated. Decent pizza, nothing special...
We leave everything there and when the waitress asked if everything was okay we explained that it hadn't been to our liking for the various written reasons, "ok that's fine" was the response immediately before spilling a piece of meat and various cutlery on my father-in-law...
It was 9.15pm and we woke up the child when we were about to leave, so we asked (unfortunately there was nothing else open) if they could cut two slices of cooked ham for the child. “We've already closed everything”, I insist, “have you cleaned the slicer yet?”, “yes, we're all about to leave”. Your comments. We, plus the other 4 people already present, still sitting.
Close and change jobs!! Bill of €80 with not even €1 discount given that the meat hadn't been touched in the slightest, we weren't aiming for that and it wouldn't have solved the terrible dinner we had, it would have just been a courteous gesture, which in our opinion was due. Shame!
