17/09/2025: Four nights with my family, spent admiring the view from the excellent breakfast, continuing upon our return in the late afternoon to relax in the spotless and welcoming room overlooking the meticulously maintained garden. We finished with dinners at the hotel restaurant, sampling traditional and non-traditional dishes that left us speechless and with a smile on our faces. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed four days with the very friendly, helpful, and professional staff and management, and the cuisine was top-notch. Definitely a place to stay in the upper Aosta Valley, highly recommended and definitely worth returning to.

10/03/2026: The pizza was great. All other dishes were not that good (salmon over cooked, as was the red tuna).
05/03/2026: The pizza and wine are very good, so I recommend ordering pizza.
However, the seafood is very poor quality.
We ordered the hot tuna and it was terrible.
We also had the salmon and the seafood spaghetti, and both were very poor.
We told the waitress about it, but there was no relevant response.
I do not recommend ordering any seafood dishes.

Pizzeria Belvedere

05/03/2026: Belvedere Restaurant is a real surprise in the city center. The first thing you'll notice is the stunning decor, meticulously crafted by a local carpenter: the wood warms the space and creates a modern yet welcoming atmosphere, truly unique.
The pizza is delicious, with a light dough and quality ingredients. It's the perfect place if you're looking for a mix of refined design and authentic cuisine. A blend of craftsmanship and fine dining that's definitely worth a visit!
08/02/2026: The staff seemed rushed, with no time to choose a dish. The food itself was very basic, and the pasta wasn't particularly good. To top it all off, when it came time to pay, the owner was unpleasant, refusing to accept separate payments and insisting on cash. In short, I don't recommend this establishment, and it should definitely be audited by the French social security agency (Urssaf).

Hotel Lo Scoiattolo Restaurant
Gressoney-la-trinitè
08/09/2024: Abbiamo passato 15 giorni a Gressoney questa estate apprezzando i paesaggi del monte Rosa e le passeggiate nei boschi e lungo il Lys.
Ma alla Trinite' dopo una di queste impegnative camminate il premio ( medaglia d'oro) è stato un piatto di tagliolini con i porcini mangiato al ristorante dell' hotel Lo Scoiattolo seguito da un dolce al cucchiaio a base di mirtilli caldi. Il tutto innaffiato da un ottimo rosato del territorio.
Essendo tornati in questo albergo dopo 30 anni lo abbiamo trovato non solo ampliato e ristrutturato in maniera pregevole ma anche accogliente come nel passato da parte della proprietaria Laura nel solco della tradizione alberghiera della famiglia Thedy.
Assolutamente consigliato.

08/12/2024: Attirati dalla posizione e dagli addobbi natalizi abbiamo deciso di entrare e pranzare nel ristorante dell’hotel hotel o meglio al Bistot.
Ambiente carino e curato.
Abbiamo preso 5 piatti
Due antipasti e tre secondi
Presentati anche molto bene
Peccato che stra salati , sapore stucchevole quasi nauseante di formaggio
Sapore che copre tutto il resto è al terzo cucchiaio ha già stancato.
Per accompagnare avevo chiesto un calice di champagne chiedendo la lista dei vini , ma hanno risposto che quelli al calice cambiano ogni giorno , quindi non lo avevano.
Mi viene servito uno dei mei preferiti
