17/05/2025: Terrible. Bigio is increasingly a disappointment, and the residents of San Pellegrino say so… good pastries but sometimes clearly from the day before. You sit down and they bring you your croissant orders right away but you ALWAYS have to wait 10-15 minutes for your coffee or cappuccino (in which bar in Italy does this happen?) Bigio had already been deteriorating for years but with the “renovation” it has also lost any semblance of a soul. Before it looked like a motorway service station but at least it had historic photos and a collection of puppets in an almost Art Nouveau setting, now they have hired “trendy” designers to give the place a look that smells of Milan Brianza and has no sense of aesthetics. Who had the idea of ​​removing the leather sofas for plastic chairs? The only place that is still nice is the dining room, too bad that cars now pass through the courtyard for the double parking. This place remains standing thanks to the loyalty of old customers who continue to disappoint.

06/05/2025: Non so se siano nate prima le Terme o Bigio e nemmeno se si vada a San Pellegrino per le une o per l'altro, sta di fatto che se mi fermo più di un giorno le due cose vanno a braccetto. Bigio è pasticceria, ma anche ottima accoglienza in hotel e cibo fantastico al ristorante. Personale di sala capace ed educato, tavoli a buona distanza per ogni occasione, ottimo cibo alla carta e fuori menù, sia di carne che di pesce. Consiglio a tutti e ci torno ogni volta che posso.
