24/08/2025: We arrived with solid and usual expectations, but found the service to be very superficial and inattentive.
The menu was unclear from a seasonal perspective, and pizzas with non-seasonal ingredients were verbally informed upon request that the product, which was rightfully out of season, was out of stock. Perhaps I would add asterisks to reflect seasonality.
Two of the four pizzas had been modified due to a change from one vegetable to another without any additions to the pizza. However, when it came to the bill, the wording "additional ingredients" was added, and we found ourselves charged a surcharge even though we hadn't added anything to the pizza. In fact, the waitress herself insisted on having the ingredients SUBSTITUTED.
When the pizzas arrived, one out of three was incorrect. Ingredients were missing from the pizza's complete composition, and they hadn't even made the pizza and then actually chosen it. However, we obviously paid for everything as if it had been a success!
What a shame!

13/08/2025: Very good dinner, excellent service, the owner was very kind and available to provide information for excursions in the area.
10/08/2025: We stayed at the Albergo Vittoria for five nights on a half-board basis, and from the very first moment, we were impressed: the welcoming atmosphere, family-friendly atmosphere, and the attention to detail paid to guests.
The owner, Sergio, is a delightful person: kind, helpful, and generous, always ready to make us feel at home.
The cuisine was a real surprise: the young but talented chef delighted us every evening with excellent traditional dishes.
A special thanks also to Maria Grazia, whose impeccable service, always smiling and attentive to our every need, is impeccable.
The rooms are modern, clean, and equipped with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay.
A truly pleasant experience, a discovery we enthusiastically recommend.
Thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all the staff... we'll see you again soon!

22/07/2025: The place is unique and obviously has to be liked. There's nothing to complain about about the service, and the same goes for the food, which is excellent and reasonably priced.
There are actually only two vegetarian dishes, while the only vegan option is the grilled vegetables, as the only vegetarian dish available can't be made vegan because the cheese can't be removed.
A real shame.

24/07/2025: A prestigious restaurant in beautiful Spilimbergo. The dining room is very welcoming. There are four of us, and we're seated at a charming table with a window overlooking the valley. The menu features local influences with gourmet touches. The frico is excellent, accompanied by the fillet of the valley's "queen" beef. The Pitina, a typical Friulian cured meat, is also very interesting. The price for two courses each, a bottle of prosecco and coffee, is €50 per person.
04/05/2025: I often went to Max and Marco and everything always went well. For me a guarantee; whether it's lunch or dinner.
The environment is suggestive.

13/07/2025: I have been here several times with my daughter and grandchildren. Beautiful garden, which also includes a well-maintained outdoor pool with a perfect shower and an outdoor buffet! A very popular place in the summer! I can't rate the hotel, we didn't use its services, but as a whole complex everything seems perfect, everything is neat, maintained, and even in the garden you feel like in a small paradise!
17/06/2025: My partner Antonella and I had dinner at this place, which we often frequent also for excellent aperitifs. Very suggestive location, just like being catapulted into a beautiful garden with fish and turtle tanks. There is also an outdoor pool that can be used in the summer months upon reservation.
Fantastic dinner with spaghetti with clams and lupins and a second course of sea bass with potatoes, truly quality. Perfect service with deboning of the fish at the table, all washed down with a wonderful Malvasia.
Excellent value for money

02/08/2025: I wanted fried calamari, he recommended mixed ones... I'm a quarter of the way through and I felt compelled to review it even before finishing my dish. Each type of fried fish or shellfish has its own distinctive aroma. Thanks to whoever recommended this place, whose name I can't reveal (but if he reads the review, he'll know). I'll be back to make a good impression on my companions. This is what dining is all about: leaving a place where you've eaten in a better mood than before you entered. Thank you, erg, for the experience!

17/07/2024: Il luogo è molto bello ed il cibo davvero delizioso. Abbiamo preso come antipasto una porzione di nachos, i più buoni che io abbia mai mangiato. Come secondo ho preso una tortilla, deliziosa. Il tutto accompagnato da un’ottima sangria. È stata una serata meravigliosa insieme al mio ragazzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

22/04/2025: Con grande piacere lascio una recensione su questo ristorante. Come spesso accade nella mia vita, prendo decisioni in modo spontaneo e all’ultimo momento. Così, tre giorni prima di Pasqua, io e la mia famiglia abbiamo deciso di prenotare un pranzo al ristorante.
Nel corso dei tre giorni successivi, dopo numerose telefonate a diversi locali, ero già delusa e quasi pronta a rinunciare all’idea. Tutti proponevano solo menù fissi e nessuno sembrava disposto ad ascoltare richieste particolari per un pranzo vegano o vegetariano — anche solo un semplice piatto con un po’ di insalata veniva considerato un problema.
Poi ho chiamato Al Faro. La risposta è stata gentile e disponibile: mi hanno detto che avrebbero fatto il possibile per trovarci un tavolo e che non ci sarebbero stati problemi con il menù vegano. Ero al settimo cielo dalla felicità!
Il giorno di Pasqua, al pranzo, mi è stato servito un antipasto, un primo e un secondo piatto… e volendo c’era anche il dolce, ma ormai ero troppo sazia!
Un’esperienza davvero positiva, sia per l’attenzione al cliente che per la qualità del cibo. Consigliatissimo!
