25/10/2025: We have been dining here for several years, and the food and service have consistently been excellent. That history is the reason I am giving more than one star despite my most recent experience.
I am writing to bring to the owner’s attention an issue with your receptionist. Today, after calling twice, the receptionist hung up on me both times mid-conversation without any explanation or follow-up. I have always made reservations in English and have never encountered any issues in the past, so this behavior was unexpected and disappointing.
We have recommended your restaurant to family and friends and have been loyal customers for years. However, after this experience, we will no longer be returning. The way a reservation call is handled sets the tone for the entire dining experience, and no guest should be treated this way. I hope this matter is addressed so that future customers do not have the same experience.
18/10/2025: This restaurant is one of the region's absolute top performers. Fresh and raw fish takes center stage, but there are also a selection of delicious alternatives for guests who don't prefer fish. The wine cellar is a true rarity, with wines and champagnes that are hard to find these days – and at fair prices. A visit here is an absolute must if you're in the area.

29/08/2025: A very nice, family-friendly place that makes you feel welcome right away. The rooms are warm and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is good and plentiful. I stayed here in mid-August, and if I ever have the opportunity, I'll definitely come back.

12/09/2025: The room was clean and spacious. The furnishings were a bit dated. Breakfast was okay, but unfortunately, there were no eggs or fresh rolls.
11/09/2025: Hotel Al Giardino was the venue for our wedding, and they did a fabulous job. We experienced all the hotel has to offer - the rooms, food, pool, gardens, and had no complaints. Lina and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding day special, and to ensure our guests were comfortable. Would recommend this hotel a hundred times over!

Fairly good welcome, run by a mother and son.
The son was very kind, the mother was not at all disrespectful.
It's a simple place; there are no menus with prices listed.
My husband and I stopped by chance, since we were passing through.
We ordered a fish appetizer to share, not particularly excellent, and a fish main course, also to share.
Two desserts, and two coffees.
We went to the cashier to pay, the lady gave us the bill, and right there and then, I paid, a bit shocked.
Basically, she charged us double for an appetizer, €23.00, instead of just one.
Unfortunately, I checked the receipt at the hotel and couldn't complain.
A scam, pure and simple.
25/10/2025: We had lunch with the workers' menu. The food was more than excellent and the price was very reasonable.

17/07/2024: Il luogo è molto bello ed il cibo davvero delizioso. Abbiamo preso come antipasto una porzione di nachos, i più buoni che io abbia mai mangiato. Come secondo ho preso una tortilla, deliziosa. Il tutto accompagnato da un’ottima sangria. È stata una serata meravigliosa insieme al mio ragazzo. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

22/04/2025: Con grande piacere lascio una recensione su questo ristorante. Come spesso accade nella mia vita, prendo decisioni in modo spontaneo e all’ultimo momento. Così, tre giorni prima di Pasqua, io e la mia famiglia abbiamo deciso di prenotare un pranzo al ristorante.
Nel corso dei tre giorni successivi, dopo numerose telefonate a diversi locali, ero già delusa e quasi pronta a rinunciare all’idea. Tutti proponevano solo menù fissi e nessuno sembrava disposto ad ascoltare richieste particolari per un pranzo vegano o vegetariano — anche solo un semplice piatto con un po’ di insalata veniva considerato un problema.
Poi ho chiamato Al Faro. La risposta è stata gentile e disponibile: mi hanno detto che avrebbero fatto il possibile per trovarci un tavolo e che non ci sarebbero stati problemi con il menù vegano. Ero al settimo cielo dalla felicità!
Il giorno di Pasqua, al pranzo, mi è stato servito un antipasto, un primo e un secondo piatto… e volendo c’era anche il dolce, ma ormai ero troppo sazia!
Un’esperienza davvero positiva, sia per l’attenzione al cliente che per la qualità del cibo. Consigliatissimo!
