21/07/2025: Excellent! This is the most important reason to visit Rocca Pia, a charming and authentic village in itself. We were welcomed warmly, immediately engaged in a frank conversation, and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended!

21/07/2025: If you're in the area, it's worth a visit. Arrosticini, potatoes, and a selection of cured meats and cheeses (made in-house) deserve 10 minutes of applause :), but the first courses are also delicious. Perfect service. Thank you!!

11/08/2025: Sunday, August 10, 2025, lunchtime for a group of six with a reservation for the second sitting at 2:30 PM. Given that the restaurant was packed, we were seated after a few minutes' delay. I don't know what went wrong with the wait staff, but we received terrible service, with the staff being surly and distracted. The first courses and appetizers seemed to be made with leftovers, with minimal portions and thrown onto the plate without any care, unlike the neighboring tables with generous, steaming portions. The only edible thing was the grilled scamorza with a small piece of sausage and the arrosticini. Oh, I forgot, we also ordered the house red wine. It tasted very light and off-putting, as if it were half water and half some other red substance. We had to order a large Coke to get something decent. Regardless of the poor quality-price ratio, the experience is absolutely awful.

04/08/2025: After a positive experience last year (both in terms of value for money and hospitality), this year was a huge disappointment. The overall food quality was below par, the service was inattentive, the dining room was noisy, prices were rising, and portions were decreasing. It's a shame. I'd like to think it was a fluke and will definitely give them another chance. I took one star off the food, one star off the service, and one off the ambiance.
