We ordered a platter for two, consisting of four slices of prosciutto crudo, four slices of salami, four slices of capocollo, two slices of pecorino, and two slices of caciocavallo, accompanied by a small cup of honey: good. Two different first courses: tagliatelle with mushrooms (champignons?!) and walnuts, a chitarra-style pasta with a white Abruzzo sauce made with mixed minced pork and veal, various herbs, and a few pieces of bell pepper; we didn't like them. Two glasses of wine and a bottle of water. Total €59.
22/02/2026: Very welcoming atmosphere, everything homemade. Highly recommended.

08/01/2026: Our lunch stop at this restaurant was excellent and absolutely convenient. Each dish is made with fresh, authentic, and incredibly flavorful ingredients. The service was fast, attentive, and truly heartfelt, exuding a rare passion. Stopping here for a break has never been so pleasant and satisfying: it's the ideal stop for anyone seeking quality and courtesy before leaving.

23/11/2025: We stopped at this place just for a coffee, I understand that and on Sunday I admit that you can pay even more, I'm fine with that, but make the coffee well. Even a little welcome doesn't hurt and not 😄

The pappardella all'Abruzzese was so tasty I had seconds!! The fresh pasta is made on-site, delicious.
I've known this place since I was little, and it hasn't changed. It's a historic local family-run restaurant. If you're looking for modern and sophisticated fare, this isn't for you.
27/07/2025: The food wasn't bad, but the menu was served on a piece of paper with illegible pen corrections, and much of the limited menu wasn't even available! It took us almost three hours to eat for four of us, and the place is neglected to say the least. It's a shame, because the dishes were good.

29/07/2025: Prima cosa grazie per averci trovato un tavolo quasi a chiusura della cucina a pranzo. Agriturismo che vorrò riprovare perché dato l'orario border line molte attrazioni del menù erano terminate. Buoni gli arrosticini,ottima la pasta con zucchine e pancetta. Buona la mozzarella con prosciutto crudo. Location veramente gradevole dove vorrò trascorrere un pò di tempo in piu.
20/07/2025: dopo tanti anni, con molto dispiacere devo dire che questa volta il Rio Torto e' stato una delusione unica...due ore e piu'di attesa solo per avere delle bruschette e bevendo di continuo (per il forte caldo) in un salone dove in pieno luglio la mancanza di condizionatori o ventilatori l'hanno fatto da padroni....ovvio che dopo aver bevuto tanto quando e' arrivata l'ordinazione nessuno aveva più voglia di mangiare come appena arrivati....spero che cambi qualcosa quanto prima perché non proporro' piu' amici alla proprieta' per evitare figuracce come quella di oggi....ps: una sola persona a servire i tavoli e' qualcosa di incredibile

Sapori della tradizione Abruzzese di eccellente livello, curati con passione da Tonino e Luisa. Assolutamente consigliato

13/07/2025: Bella località, locale accogliente e personale gentile… antipasti buoni, primi accetabili, secondi da incubo. Arrosticini cotti alla piastra, bistecca dura come il marmo, patate riscaldate.

05/07/2025: Il posto è bello e il personale gentile ma la qualità del cibo ci ha molto deluso. Friarielli acidi e galleggianti nell'olio, patate al forno fredde e mollicce, arrosticini niente di eccezionale, torta della nonna poco saporita e fredda di frigorifero. Anche piuttosto caro. Insomma, non ci torneremo

08/07/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo per la prima volta e penso non ci tornerò più, personale distratto, un primo senza sale, secco, sembrava una colla, e un arrosto misto con una salsiccia, un pezzo di maiale secco e duro e un pezzo di scamorza. Quando abbiamo visto il piatto abbiamo anche chiesto se era l arrosto quel piatto, anche il tavolo di fianco ha chiesto spiegazioni. Per completare il tutto sono stata male di stomaco per 2 giorni.

I've had bread, pizza, cakes, pasta, and jams from this bakery.
Everything is truly delicious and of excellent quality. It's important to remember that these are handmade products, which require great commitment and passion for this hard work.
The price for the quality I've experienced by eating them isn't at all high.
If the owners get unexpected responses, isn't it because we, the customers, expect too much?!?
