The rooftop terrace added a luxurious touch with a stunning view of the city. 🌇 The service was professional and attentive, matching the upscale atmosphere of the place. Highly recommended for an elegant evening with top-notch Japanese cuisine in the heart of Rome! 🍶

Zuma presents itself as a very high-profile Izakaya. Izakayas are usually a bit of a simple place, where people go mainly to drink. Here there is nothing "simple", everything is designed to express charm and a glamorous atmosphere. In this period, a dinner on the most central terrace in Rome is spectacular and worth it. We ordered a very good cocktail (for me a Japanese whisky sour, for my wife a gin and tonic), then we continued with Swordfish Gyoza, tuna and salmon tartare, salmon maki with spicy mayonnaise, salmon tataki with homemade crackers, scallop and amberjack nigiri, sautéed broccoli, steamed rice... all beyond excellence. Intense flavors enhanced by a unique atmosphere. Courteous service, quick but not rushed and very very courteous. I would say that an evening like this is worth a "more expensive" price than average, also because here we are qualitatively well above average. Highly recommended.

After years of longing for it, finally a special evening took me to Zuma in Rome. An experience that, fortunately, did not disappoint even a little the very high expectations I had built up. Dinner for two, terrace at sunset, atmosphere suspended between Tokyo and New York, but with that all-Roman touch that filters through the windows overlooking the roofs of the historic center. The view from the terrace is a spectacle that gets under your skin, but don't get me wrong: the interiors are also pure atmosphere. Low lights, refined design details, a vibrant and international energy that makes you forget where you are for a moment, and at the same time reminds you of it with elegance. We started with the scallop nigiri, amberjack and maki with spicy tuna and miso. Soft, almost silky, they melted in the mouth leaving behind a deep umami aftertaste. Then the mixed carpaccio, salmon and tuna: a hymn to freshness, with crispy rice crackers to accompany it that were perfect. The fish ravioli? A small masterpiece. Thin pasta, rich and enveloping filling. And then the rest of the menu, which we explored with almost childish enthusiasm: White rice included (off the menu that I requested and for which I was immediately satisfied) Each dish had a studied consistency, a calibrated temperature, an impeccable aesthetic, and each bite told a different story. That of Zuma, precisely: a Japanese fusion cuisine that never betrays its origins, but allows itself to be contaminated with intelligence. The drinks… wow. Strong, aromatic, surprising. They are not simple accompaniments, but an integral part of the experience. The service was impeccable: attentive but never intrusive, with smiling waiters, prepared and always present at the right time. The kind of professionalism that is noticeable but does not weigh. Next time? Definitely the interior. I also want to experience that more intimate, more “intimate metropolitan” atmosphere, perhaps in the middle of winter, with warm lights and background music as a soundtrack to another perfect evening. Zuma is not just a restaurant. It is a place that knows what desire is and makes you feel exactly where you wanted to be.

Small compared to other Zuma, but I love the vibes on the roof. Make a reservation ahead of time. A live DJ was on site. The server was excellent. Although I made the reservation three weeks ago and specifically requested a table in the middle, the receptionist assigned a table on the side. I had to request a change for a better table, which was annoying. Also, the staff at the reception should be more friendly.

Absolutely great experience, no wait, easy reservation, workers and waiters are so nice and respectful, atmosphere was amazing and view was breathtaking, you could see the Spanish Steps.

The venue is certainly very high-level but a special mention goes to KARIM who takes care of the reception: he has an extraordinary professionalism and courtesy.

We only came for cocktails at the rooftop, and honestly it was enough to fall in love with the place. We tried their signature cocktails beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced. The panoramic view, service and the overall vibe made it unforgettable.

Bonita habitación, menú un poco difícil ya que no puedo comer pescado y mariscos. El camarero fue un poco agresivo para conseguir que pidamos más. 20 euros por un cóctel nos parece caro al igual que la factura en general por lo que tuvimos. La comida sentida estaba poco sazonada. No sabía que Zuma era un grupo masivo de restaurantes en todo el mundo.

Il locale è posto in un bel palazzo nella zona dello shopping di Roma, bella la terrazza. L'arredamento non ho ben capito cosa voglia rappresentare, lo trovo poco caratterizzante. Il cibo niente di speciale, conto alto.
