We are up from Schenna in extreme heat! Super nice innkeepers and delicious snacks!!! It's also worth stopping by for the homemade showers.

Hiked here from Verdis via the Höfeweg. One hour 50. Very nice path. But you should have sturdy shoes. 380 meters altitude. Altitude approx. 1100. Food and cloudy beer very tasty. People very nice. A bit of a wait at lunchtime. I was alone and sat down. Met nice people straight away.

I ate very well, a typical peasant tavern awarded with the Gallorosso brand. The road to reach the farm is not easy, it is better to plan for a walk, but upon arrival the effort will be rewarded with organic fruit juices, house wines, nettle dumplings or goulash accompanied by dumplings (or potatoes) and to finish with krapfen filled with chestnut and poppy flour. All excellent. An experience that will be remembered.

Fantastic view from the terrace. Best nettle dumplings and cheese dumplings. You have to try it. Great fuel. Fantastic hiking trails.

Restaurant of Seehotel

09/08/2024: We stayed here for five days in August and booked a lake view room. Apart from the fact that the area here is to die for, we couldn't have found a better hotel. First row to the lake. All areas of this hotel are beautiful, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The ENTIRE staff was friendly and accommodating. The treatments we booked (massages and mani, pedicures) were also wonderful. We also had dinner twice in the hotel in the evening - it was excellent!!!! we will definitely come back!
04/08/2024: I stayed for a week in July '24 as I have for years now, the stay is always very very pleasant, both for the location of the structure overlooking the lake, for the rooms (with always something new) and for the very welcoming and helpful staff to every need.

03/09/2024: A nice ride with the chair lift and basket lift to the alpine pasture. From there there are many possibilities for further hikes.
