Welcoming, prompt and kind service. The food was all really delicious. The typical bruschetta with cruschi peppers is stellar. Aunt Lidia's potato is truly fantastic.

We stopped in this little place with outdoor tables during our visit to Matera: we tried the capocollo sandwich and the Matera cialledda, accompanied by two glasses of local wine. Excellent experience: very good food, friendly staff and average prices.

Really very good bruschetta with fresh ingredients and nicely prepared. Even though there was no table available, a space was created for us. Value for money 👍🏻

Ottimo davvero questo posto dove potersi sedere fuori su una delle strade principali del centro di Matera. Panini che solo a guardarli mettono l’acquolina in bocca. Piatti semplici della tradizione lucana ben cucinati e serviti. Gentilezza del personale.

Discovered by chance during a walk in Matera. Lidia recommended excellent traditional local food with pleasant variations. Highly recommended. Fair price for the good quality of the raw materials

03/11/2024: I came here for my grandfather's birthday, the appetizer was good with slices of swordfish, salmon then mussels au gratin, shrimp au gratin, a "flower" of puff pastry with shrimp on top filled with pink sauce, a mini colored sandwich with tuna and rocket then as first paccheri with seafood and 5 ravioli placed on a cross with ricotta filling and 2 cubes of bacon and 2 mushrooms. For the second course, roast consisting of: slice, chicken breast, half sausage, veal chops, salad and french fries. Ice cream and coffee, coffee and cake But let's move on to the environment... The environment is very nice with tables and armchairs outside, an "external" indoor room and a completely indoor room (the latter is the one where we ate) I give 4 stars to the environment because the outside was a bit dirty of waste paper and the terrace above inaccessible.
