This is an excellent restaurant. The vibe is chill, the atmosphere cozy, the service friendly and professional, and most important of all the food is top notch, as well as authentically creative. Glad I stumbled upon it.

Lovely little restaurant off the tourist beaten track. Beautiful homemade food (especially the ravioli!). Very friendly lovely waitress (who speaks French if that’s helpful for anyone).
We would definitely come here again.

Posto piccolo e accogliente, sono andata sabato sera e il ristorante era molto affollato. Ottima la cucina, la pasta fatta in casa è eccezionale. I prezzi però sono un attimo da rivedere....gli gnocchi con i calamari 17€ è un po' alto
One of the best meals I had in Rome. I would highly recommend going here. Impeccable service. Our server took time to ask us questions about our tastes and was kind and welcoming. The owner was also very kind. Great atmosphere and the food was DELICIOUS! I would come back in a heartbeat! There is also an English menu if you do not speak Italian. 10/10, you must eat here!

My husband and I found this small restaurant by chance after having been to the Vatican museums, we arrived very early, the girl was still setting the table but welcomed us kindly, we had pan-fried escarole with pine nuts and raisins, fried artichokes, a spinach and ricotta ravioli seasoned with tomato and basil sauce and a pumpkin ravioli seasoned with pecorino fondue and chopped pistachios, all amazing!

The carbonara and the deep fried eggplants were perfect. The waiter was very warm and put in effort to explain the differences among Roman classic places. Highly recommended.

I had the most wonderful time at Zilla Rilla. The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious. I think I had the best tomatoes and feta of my life there. I will be dreaming of it !! The owners spoke to us throughout the evening about their dishes and their inspiration for their recipes. They accommodated myself and 7 of my friends with such enthusiasm, despite not having a reservation. It was one of my favorite times while in Rome. Super close to the Vatican Museums and overall an amazing experience. I will be back!!

Amazing cute little restaurant. Amazing food. Amazing service. Really good if you want classics but better. The food was honestly amazing. Best we've had in all of Rome in the last four days. Honestly if you are in the Vatican area come here, instead of the overly rated rushed restaurants in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Sunday lunch: certainly an excellent alternative to the classic Roman taverns. The dishes served are all typical of tradition but served in an original way. The place is cute, small and cozy with 5/6 tables. A stone's throw from the center

Siamo andati in gruppo di amici a cena, abbiamo avuto il piacere di assaggiare degli ottimi piatti della cucina romana e a fine pasto ci hanno anche offerto degli ottimi liquori fatti in casa. Il servizio è molto cortese e veloce, lo consiglio eccetto per i prezzi che potrebbero sembrare eccessivi dato che non è in posizione troppo centrale a Roma.
