Zero Distanze In Scarlino

While it's true that many offer fried fish, Zero Distanze's is in a league of its own. Perfectly crispy, incredibly light, and incredibly fresh fish that releases all its flavor without ever being greasy or heavy. Every bite is a discovery, a rare balance between tradition and craftsmanship. It's a fried dish you won't forget, the kind that makes you say, "They really know how it's done here."

The atmosphere is modern yet refined. The service is organized and punctual. The fish is fresh, well-cooked, and the portions are quite generous. The dishes are also sophisticated. The price is more than fair overall.

This restaurant is always a sure thing for us! From appetizers to desserts, everything is delicious and carefully prepared. The service is extremely attentive, and you can sense the meticulous organization that makes everything run smoothly. In the summer, the location is truly privileged, even though finding an outdoor seat is difficult. However, I must say that it's also wonderful inside; the place is tastefully decorated and the temperature is perfect. Furthermore, the sound-absorbing ceiling panels do their job, and the atmosphere is pleasant even when it's busy. Moving on to the food: there were four of us, and we ordered 1 peppered mussel, 1 seafood risotto, 1 gnocco with courgette flowers, Pecorino cheese fondue and truffle, 1 spaghetti with clams and bottarga, 1 fried fish, 1 baked sea bream with zucchini, 1 French fry, water, beer, and coffee for a total of €135. So, the price isn't too high considering the quality of what we ate. On other occasions we also tried the pizza and desserts which we liked.

Truly a beautiful location inside the harbor. Parking is at the back of the restaurant. Even though it was a Wednesday evening in late August, the restaurant was packed. Thank goodness we had reservations! The dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. The waiters were friendly, kind, and polite. Excellent and fast service, despite the crowds. No problems, a wonderful evening with friends and children. Oh, I forgot! They provided paper and crayons for the children. Really nice! I'll keep this place in my heart for future visits, if we return to this area. Thank you!

Always wonderful! We've been regulars since the very beginning and look forward every year not only to the view, but also to the ever-changing creations that diversify the menu with each season. Since the owners are always on-site, everything is taken care of perfectly. The service staff is attentive, the terrace is always full, including many locals, and the food is excellent. Whether you're looking for a quick, delicious pizza, a pasta dish, or a three-course meal... the menu offers plenty of options for fish and meat lovers, as well as vegetarians and vegans.

My daughter and I stopped by looking for a nice place to have dinner on Sunday. They promptly seated us on the terrace, a stunning location overlooking the marina, including the sunset. We ordered two first courses, one second course, and dessert. The paccheri with calamari and pistachio pesto deserve a special mention, truly delicious. What can I say? A charming place, excellent service, and excellent food quality.

Abbiamo scelto il ristorante leggendo il menù e volendo provare qualcosa di nuovo. La nostra curiosità è stata premiata. Abbiamo mangiato bene in un ambiente curato con personale molto attento al cliente e ben preparato. Qualche appunto però c'è da farlo. Troppo verde finto e i fiori finti sulla tavola meglio di no, il tavolo da 6 troppo piccolo per tutto quello che deve stare in tavola. La proposta della schiaccina olio e sale in attesa delle portate, peraltro arrivata dopo...., deve essere più chiara nel senso che si deve capire che non è offerta. Passiamo al conto, caduta di stile al momento del pagamento. A fronte di un 79,66 la cameriera ci ha fatto pagare 79,60 facendoci notare che non aveva considerato i 6 cent.... Sarebbe passato più inosservato un 80!!!!! O più gradito un 79! Nell'insieme siete stati una bella sorpresa! Tornerò.
