Definitely top 3 restaurant experiences in Italy for us! One of the workers from Osteria Francescana recommended we come here and what a great recommendation it was! The owner is the most adorable man who is so chipper and helpful with accommodating dietary restrictions or making suggestions. The food was just absolutely mind blowing! We got a beet root risotto which was one of the best things we’ve ever had! But what stole the show was the desert! Which was made with local Lambrusco wine into a mascarpone and then topped with local cherries soaked in local aged balsamic and it was just phenomenal.

A small osteria in the heart of Modena's historic center, with a very familiar yet refined atmosphere. Traditional Modenese dishes are presented in an original way, preserving the ancient flavors of our traditions. Excellent service and excellent value.

The only place in the city center worth a visit and a return visit! Intimate place, you feel right at home. The food is like grandma's... So it's like going to grandma's house; who wouldn't be happy to go there? WORTH IT

Piccola osteria is the perfect name. Excellent food with a modern twist on tradition. High-quality ingredients, and attentive, kind, and helpful service. A wonderful experience in a small but pleasant, yet not at all chaotic, atmosphere.

The place is small but very welcoming, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is excellent, as is the wine list. We'll be back!

DIVINE Tortellini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sono rimasto davvero colpito da questo ristorante! Ogni portata è stata una scoperta di sapori e qualità. Ho iniziato con un antipasto semplicemente delizioso: ingredienti freschissimi, presentazione curata nei minimi dettagli e un equilibrio di gusti perfetto. Il primo piatto è stato il vero protagonista del pranzo: sapori intensi e genuini, cottura impeccabile e porzione più che soddisfacente. Si percepisce tutta la passione e la competenza del personale in cucina in ogni boccone! Per concludere in bellezza, il dolce è stato una coccola per il palato: delicato, ben bilanciato nei sapori e presentato in modo raffinato. Una vera esplosione di bontà! Il servizio è stato cortese, attento e mai invadente. L'atmosfera del locale è accogliente e curata. Consigliatissimo!!! Complimenti a tutto lo staff!

Abbiamo scelto per pranzo questa piccola osteria modenese, abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione per assaporare I piatti della tradizione. Due primi classici: tortellini in brodo e tagliatelle al ragù: spettacolari, per secondo tagliere di salumi, formaggi e salse accompagnati da gnocco fritto e crescentine, eccezionale! In chiusura zuppa inglese e caffè con nocciolini. Il tutto ovviamente annaffiato da ottimo lambrusco. Che dire se non che la voglia di tornarci è tanta! Un consiglio: il posto è molto piccolo, la prenotazione è indispensabile.
