A renowned (reputable) well-established restaurant in Genoa. Three popes ate there and so did numerous political and show business personalities. Beautiful posh atmosphere and succulent food. Very reasonably priced for what you’re getting. For numerous courses they finish the last touches in front of you on a rolling table. I would highly recommend this restaurant

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here and WOW... it was a marvelous experience. From the first moment that we ate here in December 2023, we knew this was a special place. The service was impeccable and the food was heavenly. But we had no idea that when we emailed them to book our rehearsal dinner, we would be treated so well. From the beginning, they were extremely communicative and worked with us to create a menu that was within our budget and our taste preference. When we went to meet the with them to finalize details the week of the event, Marco, the owner, was so incredibly gracious and kind with us and took time out of his day to go over the plan for the evening with us. On the night of the dinner itself, we were stunned by the level of service and food. Everything they put out for us was excellent during the aperitivo and the venue was stunning. After several rounds of delicious focaccia di recco, we started the dinner service in their room upstairs right on time. The appetizer was the very very tasty "Paffutelli alla Frank e Trofiette al pesto genovese di Zeffirino" which is a half portion each of their home made vegetarian ravioli with basil sauce and home made pasta with pesto sauce. I cannot recommend this enough it is sumptuous and delicious. The staff was so attentive to our guests and their various dietary restrictions. They even taught my wife and I how to cut a cake the proper Italian way! They gave us such an incredible experience that we even went back the day after our wedding for a dinner with just the two of us and Marco was so happy to see us again. We really felt like family at Zeffirino and can't wait to go back!
