As you can read in the other reviews, the owner is very unprofessional. Rude, condescending and unhelpful. Such a shame as the food was decent.

Food was very tasty, we took only first courses and dessert.
The staff didn't want to give us extra Parmesan because they though that the meal doesn't get along with that. That was kinda disappointing.
Not pricey
At the end, recommended.

After studying in Florence years ago and making many trips back over the years, dinner at Zeb was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The local cuisine was incredible and the chocolate cake to die for. Absolutely loved the pici pasta and pear ravioli. I still dream about this meal!

In all honesty we were actually quite doubtful about coming to Zeb’s after seeing all the reviews, but the Chef was absolutely wonderful, food was amazing and we didn’t experience any discomfort or ill behavior for the chef or his employees.

My anticipated return after 15 years did not disappoint. It is still delicious and authentic. Hopefully I will return to Florence soon and when I do, I will be there at least once. The price reflects a primo, secondo, dessert, water and wine.

The food is very tasty, but the experience is uncomfortable. The chef is not welcoming, he reads the menu to you in a hurry, expecting you to have already made your decision in half a second. If you asked him to repeat the explanation, the chef would roll his eyes. It seemed forced to order the first course, second course and dessert. We asked to take a picture of the wine label, because we liked it a lot. We asked the chef's mother, who seemed a little more friendly. We received a resounding "no", without explanation. But the food is tasty. The experience, overall, however, is hostile. The pear capelletti is a highlight, very tasty.

Outstanding food and wine, cozy and personal venue. Chef was concentrated in his craft, his mother was lovely and the bus boy was attentive.

Andiamo in gastronomia, ma a cena. Immaginatevi il bancone di una gastronomia circondato da una libreria di bottiglie. Il titolare al centro che racconta il menu e la madre che orchestra in cucina rivisitazioni gourmet dai sapori toscani. Paste fresche, secondi stufati e rielaborati, dessert homemade. Locale innovativo, intimo, anche se conviviale con pochi coperti. Un'esperienza singolare sotto il Forte Belvedere per turisti e non. Non adatto a commensali frettolosi.

Ottimo cibo accompagnato da un ottimo servizio, lo chef e la mamma molto educati e cordiali.
Format diverso da solito ma molto apprezzato, più conviviale, super consigliato.
Quando tornerò a Firenze verrò nuovamente in questo locale.
