I’ve dined at Zeb four times over the years, and it continues to be my favorite restaurant in beautiful Florence. It frustrates me that there are some reviews complaining about the service, but it is excellent. Alberto may come off as a serious man to some, and perhaps he is, but he’s also very kind, knowledgeable, and has made us laugh. I will say I’ve only eaten their pastas, and every single one has been incredible. Incredible.

Fantastic food for reasonable prices. Host/owner a little stern, but not rude.
Cappellacci di Zucca and the pesto were superb. Ossobuco was good.
Place is tiny but was not crowded. Being there with my wife and two teenagers. Might not be adequate for children: most places in a counter with stools.

Recommended for 10 years by Michelin and... highly recommended. A lovely concept, the food is very good, even if the desserts didn't wow me. Excellent truffle pasta. A lovely wine cellar.
Charming cook, but a rather haughty owner who should rethink his attitude (see other reviews).

Both authentic and original. The owner is really nice, making sure I have everything I need. Will be back.

The food was excellent, better than we expected, and at a good price—less than €50 per person (there were two of us).
This poor rating is due to the fact that the owner/manager was quite unfriendly. When we walked in, he didn't even speak to us. The assistant, however, was very kind and friendly, even though he didn't know English. The woman was super friendly and adorable, but the manager was the complete opposite. He read us the menu, and we asked him if he could choose a dish for us. Instead of advising us, he made fun of us and mocked us to our faces, along with the diners next to us.

Difficile à joindre (pas de réponse au mail de réservation, le téléphone ne décroche pas et en arrivant sur place rideau tiré qui ne s ouvre qu à 12h45 alors que l heure d ouverture est 13h30)

Il faut s accrocher et une fois installé, excellente cuisine qui navigue entre originalité (ravioli ricotta et poire) et tradition (Tripa) toujours parfaitement réalisé
Le tout avec une sélection de vin au verre excellent
Accueil un peu rude mais il faut passer outre : cela vaut la peine
