Intimate environment and possibly the best meal I’ve had in Italy

I'm not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best meals/restaurants I've ever had in my life. I don't understand the negative reviews, because it doesn't deserve them. I happened upon it with my boyfriend while walking and we decided to try it without a reservation. The service was beyond welcoming, and we were seated right away. As soon as we arrived, bread and water were served immediately. Shortly after, Chef Alberto showed us and explained the first courses, and he was really helpful because he also gave us some recommendations. He suggested a wine that paired perfectly with what we ordered: cappellacci with ricotta and truffle and cappellacci with pears. We loved them from the first bite, so much so that I didn't even take photos; I just enjoyed them. You can tell Alberto and his mother cook with passion. Even the second courses had a very homey taste, like grandma's cooking, made with nothing but love. Thank you so much, everything was truly delicious. When we return to Florence, we'll definitely be back here again. Congratulations ❤️

Great experience! The owners are very friendly and explain the dishes very well, with English translations. Very intimate atmosphere. Generous portions. More than reasonable price. Nothing to complain about, we had a very good evening and the food was excellent. I recommend it.

Excellent food, probably the best pasta I've ever eaten. The bar environment should make it easier to chat with other clients but there's a lack of conviviality, mostly due to the rigidity and stern attitude of the owner. Nevertheless the food is so good that I would go back any day.

The atmosphere isn't very large, but it's very welcoming. The dishes are carefully prepared and have unique flavors. I've been there several times and always love returning.

What a delicious meal. The pastas were to die for. Pear and pecorino was sublime. Had nothing like it before. Truffle pasta with butter best ever. The owner is a character. Very florentine. Best meal I’ve had in Florence. Best for solo or couples. There is one 4 top. You eat at a long bar.

I felt this is the best food in Florence and one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. This was recommended by a friend of mine from the States. I dined with my son who is studying abroad in Florence, and Zeb exceeded my expectations! Authentic Tuscan dishes, great variety, seasoned perfectly and presented beautifully. Loved the setup of the restaurant and use of space and counter seating. It’s efficient, modern, artistic, and I felt creates a tight community with the Chef. Chef Alberto is talented, driven, professional, and charming. The food was fabulous the wine outstanding. They’ve created something very special here! Thank you Chef Alberto (and possibly your Mom or Aunt?) I will be back!
