unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the food, we arrived after a day of traveling and ate everything like hungry dogs. but the food was really delicious and the desserts were completely out of this world. the restaurant is expensive, but sometimes you have to pay extra for quality if you get adequate service. I highly recommend visiting for a romantic dinner.

Fine dining at its best. It was an absolute highlight of our vacation; fantastic food. Excellent wine with a very good selection. Extremely friendly staff. A highlight for us in the San Gimignano area.

Our first dinner in San Gimignano was a real hit: the flavors were outstanding, with so much attention to detail. A huge compliment to the chef and the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. We've already made another reservation.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was incredibly friendly, and they did everything to make you feel comfortable. It's a beautiful spot in the hills of San Gimignano.

Friendly staff but the food was overpriced and a little bit underwhelming (considering the reviews). Wine was great though and desserts also not bad. All in all not a bad experience but we would not come back here for a second time.

We are from Verona and we had dinner in this restaurant during a short stay in San Gimignano. Intimate and well-kept environment, very kind and friendly staff. Excellent pici with wild boar and fiorentina, excellent quality meat and cooked to perfection. Very good

The cod is remarkable...you wouldn't expect it and instead it is absolutely to be tasted with a very cold Vernaccia...ecstasy.

Buona cucina, personale gentilissimo e accogliente! Abbiamo ordinato la Fiorentina: ci è stata mostrata prima della cottura per assicurarsi che il taglio andava bene. Morbidissima e gustosa! Dolci eccezionali! Se dovessi ritornare in zona, non avrei dubbi!

Castello Banfi - Sala dei Grappoli

08/07/2025: We had a wonderful stay at Castello Banfi — the property is absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking Tuscan views. The service was top-notch throughout our visit; the staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we didn’t get the Junior Suite we had booked. While the room we were given was still lovely, it was a bit disappointing not to receive the specific accommodation we had looked forward to. That said, the overall experience was still exceptional — we’d definitely come back and recommend it to others!

17/08/2025: In Chiusi, an excellent restaurant, Tuscan cuisine at reasonable prices, a quiet atmosphere in the center of town, and kind and friendly staff. Compliments to chef Stefania. When I return to Chiusi, it will be my favorite stop.
16/08/2025: If I could have given it 6 stars, I would have. Everything we ordered was delicious, but my Perugina pizza was amazing. All of this was topped off with fantastic service and Paola's kindness. Thank you so much!
