I was recommended by a friend and loved it. I brought my dog, which I appreciate, and the service and food were excellent. One of the best carbonara pastas I've ever had. Highly recommended.

We ordered pasta and bruschetta, everything was delicious. The waiters were attentive and pleasant.

Delicious pizzas with a generous amount of toppings. Fantastic atmosphere inside and located right in the heart of Florence's historic centre. In a city full of tourist traps, this restaurant felt properly local. Great service, and reasonably priced.

Yellow Bar – A ray of sunshine amidst Florence's tourist jungle You're strolling through one of Italy's most beautiful cities, surrounded by history, art, and tourists galore. Hunger is looming. And amidst a thousand restaurants with a tourist-trap feel, finding a place where you don't feel like someone's stealing your wallet or your soul… is a miracle. That's where Yellow Bar came in. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and seated at one of those enormous tables, almost as if we were in an Italian cantina ready to welcome a family of 50. The atmosphere is relaxed, honest, and full of good energy. In the center of the space is the semi-open kitchen, where you can see everything happening. And it's there that we see a woman, surrounded by helpers, running the kitchen like only an Italian grandmother can. At that moment, we knew: we were in the right place. We ordered a carbonara and a lasagna. The menu isn't one of those 12-page menus with options for every taste—it's straight to the point: classic Italian food. And well-made. The carbonara... oh my God. Impeccable. To this day, I still dream about it. I've never had one like it, and honestly, I doubt I ever will. Could it have been from the hunger from the trip? Maybe. But some memories last—and this one did. The lasagna was also excellent, rich in flavor, with that crispy layer on top and a filling that seemed to have been made with time and care. The portions are generous, ideal for those who are climbing alleys and taking pictures of statues with a backpack on their backs. To finish, panna cotta and a limoncello. The panna cotta was smooth, creamy, with just the right sweetness. The limoncello... well, if you like it, you'll be happy. If you don't, you'll probably come to like it. The Italian coffee, as always, doesn't disappoint. The meal ended with that jolt of energy that only a good espresso can provide. Overall? An honest place, excellent food, friendly service, and a vibe that makes you feel welcomed, not exploited. Would I come back? I will. Definitely. And I'll bring more people.

It's already one of my regular places when visiting Florence. So it's a proven fact.

I don't understand why they charge for the seat when they don't even give you bread. The taste was just average.

Our group of 8 arrived around 7 pm with no reservation and was able to be sat right away. Our server Gemma was so warm and welcoming and gave us lots of great recommendations! The chocolate coconut cake was amazing and we found out it was her recipe! Overall great experience and such an affordable price! We could not recommend enough!

Dopo anni, desideravo ritornarci spinta dal ricordo di una pizza buonissima in un ambiente caratteristico toscano e nello stesso tempo grazioso e di gusto: è stato tutto una piacevolissima riconferma, felice di aver trascorso una bella serata con la mia famiglia, gustando un'ottima pizza e seguiti da personale professionale e gentile. Certamente ci ritorneremo.
