Xovem is one of those restaurants where you immediately understand that the meat is a serious matter, yet the atmosphere remains relaxed, with no fuss. The place is cool, modern but not showy, with just the right amount of dim lighting, a relaxed crowd, and a lively staff, friendly but not intrusive. Let's talk about the meat: top notch. Precise cooking, well-chosen cuts, full flavor—things that once you bite into them, you have no doubt about their quality. Even the side dishes are thoughtfully prepared, not the usual potatoes thrown in.

Restaurant located in the center of the city of Altamura practically in Piazza Duomo. Menu that ranges from first courses, meat and fish main courses, piadinas and sandwiches. Beautiful location, modern and welcoming, attentive and kind staff, excellent draft beer and hamburgers! Recommended both for a formal dinner and to spend a nice evening with family or friends.

A perfect evening at X-Ovem We spent a wonderful evening at X-Ovem in the company of friends, and the experience was truly memorable. The staff and owners welcomed us with rare kindness and a palpable passion for their work, which made everything even more enjoyable. The environment is elegant and cared for in the smallest details, as is the table, set with taste and attention. The service was impeccable and warm from the first moment. The food won us over: very fresh and delicious mussels, a very tender and tasty roast octopus, and the orecchiette with turnip tops and anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea, really well executed and presented impeccably. Each dish was cared for not only in taste, but also in plating. The selection of wines was also excellent, with interesting and quality labels. At the end of the dinner we were offered a free bottle of wine, a much appreciated gesture that confirmed the great attention to the customer. We also had the pleasure of meeting the chef, a passionate and helpful person, who told us something more about the philosophy of the restaurant's cuisine. In short: a restaurant that combines elegance, quality and humanity. We will return
