Winter Cactus In Locri

Everything was good, even the pizza was very good

Great restaurant, old style, excellent food, easy to reach location, friendly staff.

In Locri Italy for one night and got a recommendation from our hotelier for good food within walking distance. We split (uno per due) a primi, secondi, contorno and dolci. The primi was gnocchi with cheese sauce and pesto and just outstanding. The secondi was the beef steak and fried potatoes - the best beef since Termoli. Two excellent steaks in one week in southern Italy. For dessert fresh strawberries so good. The service was exceptional; all were so friendly and helpful. If we were to stay another night or two in Locri we would eat there again for sure.

Spacious, clean, well-organized rooms, we liked the dishes we tried, the attentive and kind service, normal prices. Good potential for the hot season, from what we could see.

Cactus and I always play it safe. In addition to the menu, seasonal dishes and quality raw materials. The pizza is also excellent with light dough, long leavening and diversified dough.

Cozy and very nice place. Very kind and warm-hearted staff. I'll tell you about the singular experience with the owner who came to pick me up because I had the wrong address and I was on foot 😅. Fabulous gluten free pizza and divine ice cream. Quality ingredients. Highly recommend.

Una piacevole sorpresa. Il locale, facile da trovare e con ampia disponibilità di parcheggio trovandosi lungo il corso principale di Locri, presenta al suo interno uno stile familiare e il cameriere che ci ha accolti si è mostrato molto gentile e disponibile nel consigliare i vari piatti. Carina e gustosa l'idea di servirci, come aperitivo, il pane locale (caldo) con olio di oliva. L'antipasto di mare, quello di prodotti locali e il baccalà alla calabrese ci sono stati serviti in tempi rapidi. Inutile sottolineare la loro bontà. La carta dei piatti è ben fornita. Prezzi nella media. Se non volete spendere andate al MC Donald's Purtroppo non ho scattato foto, ma quelle che trovate sul sito appartengo alla realtà. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Esperienza da ripetere.

ogni anno scrivo nuova recensione dopo averlo frequentato ormai per tre anni, nella mia vita girovago d'affari nel mondo ( 40 anni ) raramente ho trovato ristorante che conferma eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo, servizio, ambiente e innovazione curatissima del menu, notevole la scelta del pesce sempre freschissimo, da barca e di taglie grandi ( consiglio spigola/ ombrina foglia limone e crudità in antipasto, ma anche lampuga, gamberi viola e ostriche aperte sur place all ordine ) , vini ottimi locali ma anche friulani, raccomando Sauvignon Terre Magre cantina Piera, S Quintino Livenza.
