Beautiful location... you can practically dine right by the sea. The peppered mussels were excellent and plentiful, and the grilled tuna was delicious; it melted in your mouth. It's not cheap, but the price is fair for the quality. Highly recommended.

In Locri Italy for one night and got a recommendation from our hotelier for good food within walking distance. We split (uno per due) a primi, secondi, contorno and dolci. The primi was gnocchi with cheese sauce and pesto and just outstanding. The secondi was the beef steak and fried potatoes - the best beef since Termoli. Two excellent steaks in one week in southern Italy. For dessert fresh strawberries so good. The service was exceptional; all were so friendly and helpful. If we were to stay another night or two in Locri we would eat there again for sure.

Cena in famiglia. In due abbiamo preso una pizza e una persona un secondo di pesce con contorno. Le pizze ottime e prezzi onesti. Il merluzzo cucinato bene e porzione abbondante e il contorno era una cicoria ripassata tipica della zona. Tutto accompagnato con del buon vino Locale anche questo a prezzi modici. Servizio preciso e molto cortese . Super Consigliato

Spacious, clean, well-organized rooms, we liked the dishes we tried, the attentive and kind service, normal prices. Good potential for the hot season, from what we could see.

Cactus and I always play it safe. In addition to the menu, seasonal dishes and quality raw materials. The pizza is also excellent with light dough, long leavening and diversified dough.

Ristorante la Vecchia Botte

02/08/2025: I've been to La Vecchia Botte restaurant, and I can only call it one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. The restaurant is welcoming and elegant, with a relaxing atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail, without ever being intrusive. The real star, however, is the fish: incredibly fresh, expertly cooked, and served with impeccable presentation. We started with a selection of hot and cold appetizers that were a work of art, followed by a raw seafood dish that was indescribably fresh, and a second course of simply perfect first courses: flavorful, balanced, and impeccably cooked. Next, a tuna fillet with chocolate and cardamom reduction, surprising and beautifully balanced in flavor. And to finish on a high note, a truly amazing extra virgin olive oil gelato: creamy, original, and surprisingly harmonious in flavor. A sweet finale that will amaze and captivate. The wine list is also excellent, with select options that pair perfectly with the seafood dishes. In short: if you love seafood (and more) and are looking for a restaurant where every detail is meticulously crafted, La Vecchia Botte is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back...
