Wine Bar Tuberga In Torino

We arrive at 6:30 PM without a reservation and are seated at a table, specifying that it would be free until 7:30 PM. We accept and order. ​The charcuterie board is good, and the drinks are reasonably priced. ​At 6:55 PM, I order a Negroni. At 7:00 PM, they inform us that the girl from the reserved table has arrived and we must leave. To apologize for the poor management, they tell us that the Negroni will be free. From their response, you can see the good faith and commitment this team puts into it. Add two stars for that, and I hope to return to Turin soon. ------------- ​I pay and leave with my Negroni in a sad cardboard cappuccino glass. Looking back at the bill, I realize that the Negroni was never free. Two stars because the platter deserves it, but if they're not capable of handling these situations, I would have preferred a clear "I have all the tables booked" at the entrance.

Generous platters in a beautiful location

Sam Wine has become a pleasant morning habit before heading to work. I only frequent the place for breakfast, so I'll only talk about that. Even though it's before 7:30, the numerous croissants available in the beautiful display case are never "burning" like they often are at that hour in many local cafés, which means they pay attention to both the preparation and the service: a freshly baked jam can burn your tongue! The cappuccino and coffee are good and NEVER burnt. In over six months of frequenting the place, I've never left with a bitter taste of burnt coffee: it means a good blend, but also constant cleaning of the machine and accessories, and a lot of "attention" to the customer. The waitresses are friendly and polite, and after a few days they recognize you and treat you like a friend visiting... maybe it doesn't mean much, but kindness not only never hurts, but it helps me start the day off right.

Very nice and welcoming place, good wine, service could be improved, a little cheaper for the quality of the place, I would recommend improving the chips and similar things for those who don't want to dine

I don't live in Turin, but when I'm there, I always have lunch at Sam Wine. The food, the wine selection, and the owner's kindness are as described. Highly recommended.

The aperitif at Sam Wine is a must-try. The guys who run it are very kind and the platters served are unique, with different sizes for those who are more or less hungry.
