Not writing to leave my experience, just to let others know it’s closed until September 3rd!

Good, different from the usual, well-priced. For dinner with friends, we spent €16.00 each. Returned on 7/9/23, excellent. Two people spent €29.50. Returned on 19/7/25, three people spent €57.00 for dinner, also excellent.

I have been going to Wang Jiao Paolo Sarpi for many years, it has been my favorite Chinese restaurant for its traditional cuisine. Last night, and also the previous time, it really disappointed me. Beyond the high price increase (I can't blame them, everything costs more everywhere), the dishes are now really disappointing. The fried eggplants stuffed with meat are now eggplant sticks with little minced meat visible in the sauce. Soy spaghetti that tastes like plastic. Rice noodles stuck together. In general, the dishes are now not very tasty but almost all very salty. Forced to drink a lot of water for €4 a bottle. In short, I'm sorry to leave a negative review for this place, but I hope it can help it return to the restaurant it once was.

Good but expensive, udon with roast duck very good, rice dumplings average but €4 of water is totally unjustifiable.

Restaurant in the Via Paolo Sarpi area, excellent fire pan with chicken.

A little small place but generous portions, good quality, fair price.

If you are looking for an authentic traditional Chinese cuisine restaurant, this place is an excellent choice! The atmosphere is welcoming, the service attentive and the food truly delicious. I had the opportunity to try some dishes and was very satisfied with them. One of the dishes that impressed me the most was the Spicy Sichuan Crab, perfect for those who love intense and spicy flavours. The Squid and Chinese Mushrooms with Soya Sprouts and Soya Sauce were also a pleasant surprise, with a combination of delicate but well-balanced flavours. For those who love shrimp, I highly recommend the Sweet and Sour Sautéed Shrimp with Pineapple and Peppers, a dish that combines sweetness and acidity in a harmonious way. Furthermore, the Prawns with Spicy XO Sauce are perfect for those who prefer a stronger and slightly spicy flavour. Overall, a restaurant that is absolutely worth trying if you want to taste real Chinese cuisine with quality ingredients and preparations faithful to tradition. I will definitely be back!
