Food was average at best. We each had the papa Al pomodoro for primo piatto which was good and then I got the steak and my husband got the duck. It was fine but not high quality. Both courses served room temp which I found odd. The best part of meal was the chocolate cake. Fair service. Beautiful atmosphere.

From the moment we arrived at Walter’s restaurant, we felt like welcomed guests rather than just customers — Walter and his team bring an incredible warmth and care to everything they do. The setting is rustic and relaxed in the best possible way — peaceful, authentic, and surrounded by the charm of the Tuscan countryside. The food was exactly what we were hoping for: local, honest, and absolutely delicious. Every dish felt like it had a story behind it, crafted with intention and pride. There’s no pretension here — just great food, genuine hospitality, and a deep sense of place. It’s the kind of restaurant that makes you slow down, savor, and smile. A heartfelt thank you to Walter and the whole team for making us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to return.

We booked right before dinner time, the staff was very kind, prepared and welcoming. The chef was superb, friendly and so kind! A stop to repeat!

This restaurant found thanks to TripAdvisor, is located in a historic villa that is part of a relais in the Tuscan countryside between Siena and Arezzo. The estate is very beautiful, a place of peace and tranquility. The dinner was much appreciated. The first courses were special, the meat was excellent, tender as butter and tasty. The desserts and the small pastries offered at the time of coffee were also much appreciated. Definitely a place for adults and couples looking for gourmet dishes. Recommended

Todo se hace al más alto nivel. Hemos disfrutado de las comidas aquí en varias ocasiones durante los últimos 10 años y nunca hemos tenido una mala comida. Platos tradicionales de la Toscana cocinados de una manera moderna, un servicio amable y eficiente, buena carta de vinos. Uno de los mejores restaurantes en los que hemos estado, no solo en la Toscana por la consistencia y la calidad de la comida y el servicio.

Hi, the food and wine here are amazing. For me, being an Indian vegetarian, I have fewer and fewer options in Europe, but the vegetarian food they offer in this restaurant is delicious, especially the dish "Hemp flour tortelli, filled with potatoes and spring vegetables, served on a saffron flavored cream cheese". Even the non-vegetarian food was great, as my friends who eat it said. There were three of us at lunch.

23/08/2025: My family enjoyed a lovely five-night stay at this property. The location was excellent and enabled us to visit different Tuscan locations on each day. The property itself was great -- the apartment we stayed in (the Margherita) was large and very comfortable for our family. We were there during a heat wave, and the central air conditioning was strong enough to leave us comfortable throughout our stay. Another highlight of this property is the restaurant. We enjoyed multi-course meals through the half-pension play (which included both breakfast and dinner), and they were very accommodating for our children who had specific dietary requests. And the staff at this property was very friendly and spoke English well. I would definitely return -- and while it was rated only 3 stars, in our experience it was far nicer than the 4-star establishments we stayed in. I would definitely recommend, and we plan to stay here again in the future.
18/08/2025: A little paradise. The Margarita room was incredible, completely renovated, with a beautiful terrace. The restaurant is excellent, serving delicious local cuisine. I highly recommend it.

05/09/2025: A confirmation! The pici with amazing sauce and the tender tagliata. The fig cake was very good. I brought a Florentine friend here, and he thanked me for the excellent choice. There are also private rooms.
03/09/2025: We ate: ribollita, pici all'aglione, a 1.2kg Florentine steak, cantucci with vinsanto, and a bottle of their excellent Chianti. It couldn't be more Tuscan... Everything was delicious, in fact excellent! Very fair prices. Highly recommended.
