I was there once. The Bresaola della Valtellina was incredibly delicious, and the coffee was excellent. The staff wasn't very friendly. The price was high.

Aperitif with friends. Today we stopped for an aperitif with some friends at the bistro. The service was impeccable, and the wait staff was extremely kind and welcoming. We let the bartender serve the cocktails, and they were all absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back.

Wonderful 9-course gastronomic menu by a well known and very gifted chef who took the time twice to speak to us and a very attentive albeit discrete staff. Definitely worth it and we will be back next time we are in Milan. Bravo!

The place is in a more historical one. In one side Scala theater and the other side Leonardo statue. Inside of the cafe atmosphere is also very elegant and attractive. Workers are so kind and careful. The taste of the coffee and sweets are wonderful. I highly recommend the place for stop and take time for good time.

We stopped for coffee and tiramisu before visiting the Teatro alla Scala. Everything was delicious, the interior was beautiful, and the service was professional. I've always had a good experience, and for a couple of years it's been a go-to place for a quick bite to eat in Milan. Not tonight! The maître d' could have avoided customer waits, including mine, by helping the staff coordinate their work and not concentrating on small talk with just two customers. He'll be left with just "those

19/02/2026: I often come here for a cappuccino. The price has gone from €2 to €2.50 from one week to the next. A bit too much for a cappuccino.
19/02/2026: I love going there with 3-4 people, but I was disappointed with my group of 8. The table inside was too big, making it hard to see everyone. We ordered three aperitivos, but they placed them in the middle where two tables were joined, making it very difficult to reach them. There were no service plates until we asked, and the portions were smaller than individual plate servings. While the taste was good, the service was lacking. When other friends arrived, they got personal plates, which looked more appealing. Also, around 7:02 PM, we couldn’t order hot chocolate because they stopped serving it at 7:00 PM. It would’ve been better if they hadn’t refused us for just two more minutes out of courtesy. So, if you’re more than 4 people and want to sit inside, it’s not ideal for aperitivo.

18/09/2025: Roman trattoria in Milan's Porta Venezia neighborhood. We met here for a business meeting. The location is small, but boasts an outdoor seating area on the pedestrian street. Service is fairly quick; the table setting is simple, with paper placemats and cloth napkins. The food is average for a trattoria. We opted for two first courses: "Matriciana" and "Cacio e Pepe," washed down with a good white wine (Chardonnay Tellus - a 37.5cl bottle so we could drive). The bill, however, was a restaurant fare. For a Roman experience in Milan, it's achievable.
