23/08/2025: good quality, good service, fair price, I recommend it
18/08/2025: I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant on Ferragosto (August 15th) with a group of eight, and overall the experience was decent.
A plus is certainly the courtesy and helpfulness of the wait staff, always kind and attentive to requests, as well as the quality of the raw materials used, which appears to be of a high standard.
The appetizer, served on a single plate with several options, wasn't ideal, however: since we had intolerances, some of the ingredients ended up mixing together, and the dish wasn't appreciated. Furthermore, both the anchovies and the salmon were rather bland. The scialatielli with scampi, calamari, and fresh cherry tomatoes also didn't convince: the pasta seemed to have little connection with the sauce, and the result was flavorless.
An unpleasant incident involved the serving of the first courses: six people had already consumed the first of the two scheduled courses, and while two diners were still waiting, the others had already finished their second course.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed the sirloin steak: although it arrived cold, the meat was tender and flavorful.
The mixed fried fish was also appreciated.
One area where the restaurant could improve is the service organization. The dining room was very crowded, and the dishes at our table were delayed or incomplete, so much so that we had to ask for them several times. Furthermore, since there is a fixed menu for the day, it was unpleasant to see variations between tables: at ours, for example, the baked potatoes were initially missing; they arrived only upon request, but unfortunately, they were not very well made.
Overall, a mid-August lunch without any particular negative or excellent notes: the courtesy of the staff and the quality of the meat are commendable, but there are several aspects related to the flavor of the dishes and the organization that could be improved.
