At my third time in Livorno, I feel like recommending it as highly as Muzio Scevola did, putting both hands on it, as I would do for In Carne

Average selection of wines and beers, decent food, prices too high

Great place! Had tuna for main dish and tiramisu truffles for dessert. Both memorable and very well made. Restaurant is a bit further from typical tourist locations, so only saw locals there. Staff speaks good English though. Very pleasant service. And atmosphere is great. Best dining experience in my travel so far.

Meglio per un’aperitivo che per cena nel senso che hanno una bella carta dei vini e ai tavolini fuori è gradevole la situazione con degli stuzzichini. Per cena sono andato con amici ad abbiamo preso antipasto mare dove c’era una tartare di tonno, dei pezzettini di polpo e un crostino con un formaggio sopra, tutto molto buono ma era una porzione davvero troppo risicata, cosi come il secondo un trancio di tonno con patate arrosto, anch’esso piccolo con poche patate, tanto è vero che ci siamo dovuti saziare con tante fette di pane e olio e all’unanimità abbiamo detto che devono aumentare le quantità. Spesa € 35 con una bottiglia di vino in tre (non eccezionale ma bevibile) e appunto antipasto e secondo. Locale carino e personale gentile e disponibile.

Aperitif in a youthful and relaxing context

A pleasant evening with friends. A glass of red, a small cutting board, appetizer - the truly noteworthy gorgonzola panna cotta - and coffee. All very good. I couldn't try other dishes because my partner asked me to split the platter. I tasted his pasta, I personally liked it, I like to taste the lemon in the fish pasta, but my partner doesn't so much, it's a matter of taste. Maybe I would have preferred a little less courgettes and more prawns. Polite, helpful, friendly and polite staff. We had a good time, I recommend.
