This was definitely the best dinner we had in a long time. Actually, we went back the day after because we liked the wine, food and service that much. If you like a amazing white wine, go for the Vorberg Weissburgunder, in terms of food all dishes were amazing, but the steak tartar and venison definitely stood out! We are thankful for the recommendations from our very knowledgeable waiter Finn who served us both nights.

We spent a wonderful evening at Vitis. The service was very good, the quality of the food was phenomenal and the overall atmosphere at Vitis gave us a wonderful evening.
The menu caters for every taste. The recommendation of the wine accompaniment was excellent. It was an all-round successful evening and Vitis is an absolute recommendation.

Somehow, during our stay in Brixen, all the good restaurants in Brixen were closed for business holidays or for other reasons. Finally we ended up in a wine shop.
This didn't make a difference in terms of the enjoyment of the food, but the selection of drinks for non-alcoholics was rather limited, hence one star less. Wine drinkers, on the other hand, can of course be happy…
You can see the food in the pictures as usual. About the individual courses: The anchovies were not particularly prepared, but were of very good quality. The beef tartare was very good, although we liked it a little better the day before. We also really enjoyed the scallop carpaccio with peaches, unfortunately the peach wasn't very sweet, if you had gotten a fully ripe one it would have been even better. The composition of the last dish was also rather unusual, at least for us: squid with potatoes, sweet onions, crispy pork rind and scamorza foam. But the interaction was really very good!
Regarding the ambience, we can also say that we sat in a leafy courtyard that was really beautifully decorated. In such a case, the nice feeling also depends on the good weather.
The staff was very friendly and concerned about our well-being.
