The feeling is that of sitting on a stage, between the castle and the church, evocative, romantic. Zero-mile products, grown in the backyard, with love and passion. And cooked with equal mastery. A home-style cuisine, reminiscent of childhood recipes, of grandparents. A cuisine that communicates love and sweetness. An experience to be relived and relived again.

We had dinner for 2 consecutive evenings and were exceptionally satisfied, the quality and the service excellent (Ms Marta is a very nice person, Paolo and Eugenio 2 professional guys), I highly recommend trying the homemade vegetables, the meatballs in sauce are a rarity to find them so good, the parmigiana is top, the wine produced by them is excellent, compliments.

The food was good, with homemade pasta and local produce, and the atmosphere and setting were very welcoming, with a view of the castle. It's a shame the service was practically nonexistent, uninspiring and inattentive (they even forgot to bring us our appetizers). The prices were a bit high for what you get (€52 for two plates of pasta with tomato and eggplant and a wine for €15). On a positive note: if you don't finish the wine, you can take it home.

"The best thing the great men of the earth could do is hoe it." Eating here is like eating at grandma's house, and that grandma is Signora Concetta. Marta, a professional winemaker, brings us back to the genuine values of a wisely cultivated land. An added bonus are the young staff in the dining room, who give everything a familiar yet professional touch. Great Paolo, who with his charm has won our hearts!! Sciamm!!!!! Greetings from Rome

Very nice place, tables in the middle of the square with the castle behind them... Very quaint, excellent food where they showcase local flavors. We came here because we're always on the lookout for natural wines....

10/08/2025: A perfect experience in every way! The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every comfort. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The pool is gorgeous and available to guests. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

Locanda Arcu Te Pratu

02/11/2025: A very welcoming, family-friendly venue, meticulously curated down to the smallest details, in the historic center of Lecce. A place where you can breathe in the history of the place, upon entering you are immediately greeted by a highly respected wine cellar and by Francesco, who takes guests on a journey of flavors and aromas from another era, always remaining very contemporary. From here, it begins with Chef Aldo, who guides his guests through a range of traditional local dishes, dishes from other regions, and seafood, preserving the culture in both craftsmanship and raw materials. Highly recommended for all audiences.
11/10/2025: We had a quick lunch here. I wanted to try the « fave e cicorie» as it’s supposed to be a traditional dish of the area. It was lovely and creamy. We enjoyed some nice cool beers and the staff were very friendly. Apparently they are new owners and I think they should be encouraged. It was slightly out of the main tourist centre on a quiet but attractive street. We ate outside so I’m not sure what the interior of the restaurant is like.
