The Vitello Tonato was extremely small for the price. But the quality was okay. The filet. Angus was of inferior quality. The cooking speed wasn't right. There were also a few dry and bland potatoes. No other supplements. The service was a one man show but OK. What we didn't like at all were the very dirty kitchen appliances behind the bar.

A very nice little restaurant, very welcoming and warm with servers who know their jobs very well, passionate and smiling, the dishes rather light in quantity and more like French gastronomy, but very appetizing and nicely presented. Thanks to the very friendly waiter who introduced us to the Violetta digestive, a real treat.

We were here in April, I was enthusiastic 5*. Now in September and even on my birthday, we are disappointed. I think they have a new chef, it was clearly less, it wasn't busy in the place either, 8 guests. In April it was still "full house" With the "guanciale di vitello" the aligot was less, that can happen. Dolce.... zabaione, last time the bowl was full to the brim, now it was half full. I showed the waiter a photo of the zabaione in April... "almost the same" but the fool didn't see that the bowl was half full. He laughed. Full bowl in April € 10 now half full also € 10.... but now comes my problem, there was ice under the zabaione. We want zabaione (as it should be) but not with ice cream. That waiter says... "that's how it's made these days". SORRY... I know Viola is not a cheap restaurant, that's my choice. But almost €200 for these dishes and service... I can eat at more addresses in Liguria for €200.... we are disappointed.... never again, and not taken seriously by the waiter, that fool laughs everything away ....never. Too bad I didn't take a photo of the "dolce", so that the readers of reviews could compare the 2 photos and believe my point of view, it was 1 ice cream ball and a bit of zabaione, mistake on my part.

Hemos cenado en Viola muchas veces a lo largo de los años y nunca hemos tenido una mala comida aquí. El menú está casi escrito en piedra, por lo que para nosotros los habituales bastante previsible. A veces eso es un poco frustrante, aunque es bueno saber lo que pides será excelente. Varias veces le hemos mencionado al Sr. Viola que nos encantaría tener un plato en particular. Con antelación, ha agradecido alegremente. Tal vez no debería revelar que su Bagna Cauda es la mejor que hemos tenido. Si Norwegian King Crab está disponible, no te lo pierdas. Es un pequeño comedor íntimo con una carta de vinos bien elaborada. Los precios son premium y los ingredientes también. Un buen lugar para una celebración tranquila. El propietario y/o un colega profesional te harán sentir como si estuvieras en un comedor privado.
