09/08/2026: Our experience dining in Italy this weekend has been far from perfect, and unfortunately, we’ve already had a few disappointing experiences with food. One of those was at a nearby restaurant. Which left our group feeling particularly cautious and hesitant to get our hopes up. However, this restaurant was a breath of fresh air. We were genuinely and pleasantly surprised by the level of food, care, finesse, and attention to detail that went into everything - from the dishes themselves to the staff and the overall standards. Coming as a group of 10, we were incredibly impressed with how well looked after we were. The staff were extremely polite, attentive, and well-mannered, and the food was genuinely exceptional. The steak was incredibly tender, paired with perfectly crispy potatoes. The tuna was phenomenal, with incredible flavour and finesse. The deep-fried Brie with chilli jam was absolutely impeccable - it practically melted in your mouth. The spaghetti was traditional, comforting, and full of flavour. The tomato pasta with Parmigiana was truly a masterpiece. It reminded me of my mum’s cooking, but somehow even better - the kind of food that feels like it has been made with genuine love and straight from the heart. The black pasta with seafood was another fantastic choice, packed with flavour and beautifully executed. The cod was also delicious, with great flavour and plenty of character. Overall, this restaurant completely changed our expectations after some disappointing meals during our trip. The combination of excellent food, attentive staff, and genuine care made the experience feel special. A huge thank you to the whole team. We came in cautious and left genuinely impressed. This is exactly the kind of dining experience we had hoped for in Italy.

02/08/2026: Delicious cacciucco, one of the best I've ever eaten, tender and delicious. The dishes at other tables looked good too, but it's a shame I was just passing through, otherwise I'd be back.
