Always impeccable service, selection of interesting wines, shame about the aperitif which I found a little too expensive

Vinoir is an absolute gem, and I couldn’t have chosen a better spot to steady my nerves before a first date. The intimate, relaxed atmosphere made it easy to feel at ease, but what really stood out was the exceptional service. A heartfelt thank you to Marta, the kind and perceptive waitress who made my experience unforgettable. Sensing my first-date jitters, she recommended a glass of wine that was exactly what I needed to relax and enjoy the moment. Even more, her advice was spot on: “It’s just two people seeing if they connect—don’t overthink it.” Her warmth and reassuring words made all the difference, helping me approach the evening with calm and confidence. If you’re heading to Vinoir before a date (or just need a moment to unwind), this is the place to go. With its welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff like Marta, you’ll leave feeling a little lighter no matter what the night brings.

If on a rainy afternoon you took refuge in this place on the canals, perched on the stool at the counter or slouched at a rough wooden table, you would notice that the bookcase of bottles that line the walls of the place does not offer the usual well-known names. Behind labels that seem to be handmade, in bottles that often look cheap, you will encounter new flavors that you will certainly have to ask the innkeepers for help to orient yourself. They are all strictly natural wines, from spontaneous fermentation, without alchemy in the cellar to correct the taste, produced by heroic winemakers in plots of land present in the most disparate places. Even just hearing the story of a wine gives an emotion. Honest value for money. The only problem: if you learn to drink well, then it's difficult to go back! Well done!!

Excellent recommendations and lovely atmosphere

Vinoir presents itself as a welcoming and refined place, where the convivial atmosphere and the vast selection of wines are certainly the strong points. The wine list is really well curated, with proposals ranging from local classics to international labels, offering a high-level wine experience. Wine enthusiasts will not be disappointed, with the possibility to choose between glasses or bottles, perfectly accompanied by competent advice from the staff. However, if we move to the food front, the experience changes drastically. The menu offers a selection of dishes for aperitifs and dinners, but the quality of the food is not up to the asking prices. Although the portions are carefully presented and the service is pleasant, the flavors are rather mediocre, without any distinctive note that justifies the excessive cost. For example, the cold cuts platters, although fresh, had a selection of 3 types (the waitress had described the dish with 4 types) including salami, coppa and cotto, 5 very thin slices per salami, at a cost of €25. In summary, the real sore point is the quality-price ratio. Even though it is a wine bar in a central and suggestive area, the food prices are disproportionate to the quality offered. While it's worth stopping for a glass of good wine, it's hard not to feel a sense of disappointment when it comes to the bill.

We tried a couple of different natural wine bars while we stayed in Milan and Vinoir was bar far our favorite, lovely knowledgeable staff with delicious wines. Will definitely visit again next time we are back in Milan. Thank you Maria for you recommendations and great service also!

All the dishes we tried were delicious. The attentive service explained the wine list to us, with a good selection of natural wines. It is the perfect place for wine lovers. The atmosphere is welcoming, which creates a lovely experience.
