Had the absolute best experience through and through with everything with this place!! Starting from the impeccable service that was casual enough for us to fully trust the sommelier Paolo to give us what’s good to pair with our meals, Danielle was also there to explain what we’re having and everything was absolutely exceeding our expectations. Had the best time!! Food was really good and the wine pairing was excellent.

It was one of the most memorable and innovative restaurants I had in Taormina. For someone who can't eat much, 6 courses were a lot, but the octopus dish and raw shrimp dish were shockingly delicious... Oh, and the lemon dessert in particular remains deeply in my mind.

Lived up to the hype. Food (tasting) was inventive and very, very delicious. Service was perfect and warm. Wine pairing was great. Recommend!

We had the most amazing meal in Taormina! Restaurant Vineria Modi gets a mention in Michelin Star but deserves so much more! Amazing wine recommendation from the sommelier and the food was next level!

Fantastic experience, with service and food both first class. We share two starters and one primi, and had a secondi and desert each. The meal kicked off with lovely amuse-bouche and breads. The starters were excellent; flame grilled octopus and steak tartare (capers and black truffle really elevating it from a usual French affair). The primi was their signature dish - a lamb ragu with explode-in-your-mouth bottoni filled with a cheese sauce. The secondis were turbot with mushroom and sea bass with a meunière sauce - both great. The deserts were a deconstructed coffee, mascarpone and chocolate dish - very nice. A lovely jelly also arrived with the bill. The service also needs a particular mention, our waiter and sommelier were both first class and very confident with his menu recommendations. We have eaten some fantastic meals in Sicily over the course of our two-week trip, and this is the best of it.

En un pueblo caro con tantos restaurantes hace falta esfuerzo y disciplina para destacar. Situado en lo profundo de las pintorescas calles secundarias, puede elegir sentarse fuera (para absorber el ambiente de la calle) o dentro para una experiencia más tranquila. Tuvimos la carta en lugar de cualquiera de los menús degustación y nuestra comida, pulpo a la parrilla, tortello con mousse de pescado y ragout de mariscos y captura del día lubina con una salsa meunière estaba bien presentado y "correcto" en lugar de excepcional como se juzga por la "Mención Michelin" estándar's que se muestra prominentemente. La salsa meunière parecía haber perdido el rumbo. El sumiller era entusiasta y conocedor, el servicio general era excelente.

I have been to many good restaurants - but this visit deeply impressed me on a different level. The food was excellent, but especially the service was more than perfect.

Se supone que es uno de los mejores restaurantes fe Taormina y en efecto el servicio es inmejorable. Pero por este precios se espera una comida imaginativa. Los entrantes si que lo son. Por desgracia se trata de un menú cerrado con platos italianos nada originales y raciones escasas. El pulpo está bien como en cualquier parte y los raviolis lo mismo. Sin embargo uno espera o bien raciones mas abundantes o mas originales.Nada de eso se cumple.Cocina italiana escasa a precios elevados.No compensa
