I spent a weekend with other families in San Benedetto del Tronto, visiting the village of Grottammare Alta, we stopped for dinner in this wonderful winery, all made of bricks, carved into the rock, and as if by magic we were offered to eat on the terrace We were stunned, a few intimate tables on the small balcony overlooking the sea, an exceptional view I recommend visiting the village, it's wonderful! The staff is very courteous and helpful, the service could be improved a little, a little slow The food is delicious, you can come for simple aperitifs or for dinner, above all the platter of cheeses and cold cuts Absolutely worth trying

the place is nice, despite being located in the far northern part of the Borgo Antico, which is poorly ventilated and overlooks a stretch of motorway. The location is still suggestive, although it can aspire to much more in the context in which it is located. I underline that for us it was a last minute stopgap, because we hadn't booked anywhere else. We wanted to have an aperitif, so we ordered a bottle of Pecorino di Offida, and to accompany, two focaccias and two platters, one of cured meats and cheeses, one of vegetables (there were 3 of us). The quality of both was decent, but the price was totally disproportionate to the quantities. €25 for the mixed one is an enormity (I attach photos of the dimensions) and €12 for the vegetable one (baked but semi-raw) is equally too high. In total we spent €24 each and I would say it was really too expensive for what we consumed.

Excellent experience both from the point of view of hospitality and kindness, but above all for the quality of the meat dishes. I would like to thank Matteo for his excellent professionalism in recommending the right dish with the wine pairing that enhanced the flavours. Recommended, see you next time!!

The food was all very good, even if the prices were a little high but justified by the quality. We took platters of cold cuts and cheeses, some homemade focaccias and a plate of cannelloni with ricotta. All accompanied by an excellent bottle of "Lacrima di Morro d'alba delle marche" red wine. The only flaw is that they added an extra focaccia to the bill that we hadn't taken, for two euros we didn't have any issues.
