Aperitif in the historic bar of Alba: excellent Piedmontese white wine, a fantastic Guinness and they bring you a tray of not bad appetizers. Professional, friendly and efficient service. Payment with POS at the table without even asking. Thanks and goodbye.

An exceptional place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. The raw meat was a true delight: fresh, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The polenta, smooth and full of flavor, was the perfect accompaniment. Each dish stands out for its quality and attention to detail. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service completed an unforgettable experience. Without a doubt, a place to return and continue exploring its exquisite menu. We ate well, €35 per person, perhaps I would have preferred more space (therefore fewer covers) between the tables, also to make the waiters' work easier.

Ho trovato Vincafe in modo casuale, camminando lungo una delle vie principali di Alba. Si trova in una posizione strategica. Il servizio è rapidissimo, ma molto attento e cordiale. I piatti sono tutti buoni e con un'ottimo rapporto tra la qualità e il prezzo; è sicuramente un'ottima soluzione se non sapete dove andare a mangiare e vi trovate in giro per Alba! Hanno sia un menù normale sia un menù tartufo. Ci sono diversi piatti adatti ai vegetariani.

For me the best vitello tonnato in Alba! At Vincafè they always find a place for you and it's a guarantee for good food. Excellent price for truffles (€38 per plate). They have many convenient menu proposals for those who want to try Piedmontese cuisine. Try Ruchè, the red wine from Castagnole Monferrato! A gem. Only note: their bunet doesn't drive me crazy, but everyone does it in their own way

05/11/2024: A small hotel in the middle of the Alps. The food is really excellent, especially in the evening, with a 4 course menu. It all feels very familiar, but you have to be aware that there isn't much outside except mountains. Tips nearby include the Rocca Provenzale, cycling (Coll d'Agnello) and hiking
18/10/2024: Right in the heart of Valle Maira lies this gem. Good hospitality, good food and the location is great for nice and challenging hikes in the area. Nice to have a sauna after a long day in the mountains. We got to experience beautiful autumn colors in October and snow-covered mountain peaks. Simply the best if you like mountains!

12/01/2025: Stopped by today for a snack after the walk to Capanna Ussolo, Marta cooked two delicious crêpes. Excellent welcome, cleanliness and courtesy. We wouldn't have wanted anything more.
02/01/2025: The Rifugio La Carlina, managed by Marta since this year, turned out to be a very good choice to celebrate New Year's Eve with our group of friends. The dormitories, renovated this summer, are large, warm and welcoming. We spent 2 days playing board games, in a welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by excellent food and the kindness of Marta, always attentive to everyone's needs (vegetarians and various allergies). The clear skies and pink dawns were the setting for a truly special experience. Being a stopping point on the Occitan Routes, the refuge is perfect for both hikers and those simply looking for a quiet place to unwind. highly recommended!
