I only stayed one night, but everything was perfect. The apartment was beautiful and located right in the center of Alba. It was impeccably clean and the breakfast was excellent, both sweet and savory. Another highlight is the helpful staff, who went out of their way to get me a phone charger, which I'd forgotten in the room.

I stayed here for one night with my family. The room was clean, beautiful, and air conditioned. The reception staff were very kind and helped us carry our luggage to our room. The location is excellent, in the center, across from the medieval house, one of Alba's must-see attractions. The express breakfast was excellent.

We spent two nights at the Vin Café, a well-located hotel in the historic center of Alba. Parking is nearby. The rooms are comfortable and very well-equipped. The complimentary bottled water in the fridge is a real plus! The breakfast menu offers a wide variety of choices, and the meal can be hearty! Thank you to the entire team for their warm and friendly welcome.

Per la pausa pomeridiana, sulla carta potrebbe essere il luogo ideale per l'aperitivo: centrale, ampi spazi esterni (ma tavolini un po' troppo ravvicinati), prezzi onesti, buona scelta di cibi e bevande. Peró all'atto pratico, in parte delude: l'accompagnamento di stuzzichini all'aperitivo è abbondante ma andrebbe variato meglio rispetto all'uniformità di proposte fatte di pizzette, frittatine varie e tocchettini di formaggio: il tutto risulta essere alquanto pastoso e pesante. Qualche salume, grissini, crackers o pancarrè, una salsina (maionese, salsa rosa o altro) per guarnire qualche tartina, oppure assaggini caldi potrebbero rappresentare una variante più stuzzicante, anche a costo di una leggera maggiorazione del prezzo della bevanda ma rendendo onore a un rinomato locale storico di Alba. Buoni gli aperitivi e i cocktail. Servizio celere.

Che i tavolini fossero piccoli e appiccicati, si vedeva anche quando ci siamo seduti. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto ed un primo, vedendo poi il piatto di selezione di formaggi arrivati al tavolo affianco, ordiniamo anche quello. Il cameriere, al momento dell'ordine, xi chiede se li volessimo prima, ed abbiamo risposto di sì. Il problema è che dopo nemmeno un minuto all'arrivo del piatto da portata, sono arrivati gli altri piatti, obbligandoci a mangiare con i piatti un mano per mancanza di spazio. Per il cibo, buoni gli agnolotti del plin e discreta la tartara (macinata un po' troppo finemente), senza infamia e senza lode il bonet.
